Patriot League Announces Corvias Women's Soccer Weekly Awards 10.10

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - All but one Patriot League contest over the weekend needed extra time as Boston University's 3-0 victory over Lafayette was the only game that ended in regulation. Bucknell and Holy Cross each netted golden goals, while Lehigh and Loyola Maryland; Army West Point and American played to draws.

Junior forward Kendall Ham's game-winner just 22 seconds into overtime secured the Bison's 2-1 victory over Navy and improved their unbeaten record to 11-0-1, 5-0 PL. The junior's goal is her second game-winning goal in League play and fourth overall this season. With the win, Bucknell remains at the top of the standings with 15 points.

After dropping their first 10 contests of the season, the Terriers have turned a corner and notched clean sheets in their last four Patriot League match ups to sit in second in the standings with 12 points. In its most recent win - a 3-0 decision over the Leopards - three different players - Jesse Shreck, Rachel Blauner, McKenna Doyle -- scored in the first half to propel BU to victory.

Lehigh and Navy sit tied for third with seven points, Loyola Maryland and Colgate each have six points, while Army West Point and Holy Cross have five points apiece.

In Patriot League action, Bucknell's Maddie Mulford leads the way in points (13) and goals (5), and is tied with Navy's Clare MacAdam with three assists. On the opposite end of the field, Bucknell's Jessica Ratner has only given up two goals across 460:22 minutes to lead the League with a 0.391 goals against average, while also averaging a League-best 5.20 saves per game along with Holy Cross' Brooke Holle.

Colgate will compete in non-League action against Ivy rival Cornell on Monday at 7 p.m., while Lafayette, Boston University and Holy Cross will also take on Ivy foes in Columbia, Harvard, and Brown, respectively, on Tuesday. Navy will also contend on Tuesday in non-League action against Howard. League play resumes on Saturday for all 10 teams.

KENDALL HAM, BUCKNELL

Ham helped the Bison (11-0-1, 5-0 PL) continue its unbeaten streak, scoring the game-winning goal 22 seconds into overtime against Navy for the 2-1 victory. The golden goal was the junior's second in League play - after netting one on Oct. 2 against Colgate - and fourth of the season. Her 11 goals this season currently tops the League.

Seslija had a hand in both of the Crusaders' goals against Colgate on Saturday, as Holy Cross defeated the Raiders 2-1 in double overtime. The sophomore assisted on teammate Lucy Acuna's game-tying goal in the 58th minute and later scored on a free kick in the 108th to secure the victory.

Cirovski helped the Bison (11-0-1, 5-0 PL) continue its unbeaten streak with a 2-1 overtime win over Navy on Saturday. In the 65th minute of the contest, the junior made a defensive save off the line to preserve the tie and force overtime

Holle helped the Crusaders to their first League win with a 2-1 double overtime victory over Colgate on Saturday. The senior made seven stops to also collect her first win in net this season.

Miller allowed just one goal across two games this week, giving up one to the top team in the region - Princeton -- on Tuesday. The freshman made three stops against the Tigers and then tacked on another two in the Mountain Hawks' 0-0 draw with Loyola Maryland on Saturday.

MCKENNA DOYLE, BOSTON UNIVERSITY So., F, Manhattan Beach, Calif.
Doyle assisted on the first goal of the Terriers' 3-0 win over Lafayette and later scored a goal in the first half to give her team a three-goal lead.

CORA CLIMO, BUCKNELL Sr., MF, Naperville, Ill.
Climo scored 47 seconds into the second half of the 2-1 overtime win over Navy, marking her first goal of the season in her first start of the year.

SAMM FRANCUCCI, AMERICAN Fr., M, Melville, N.Y.
Francucci netted American's lone goal in the 1-1 draw with Army West Point, find the back of the net off a service from teammate Kyanna Alleyne in the 33rd minute.

NICOLE WAHLIG, LOYOLA MARYLAND Sr., D, East Meadow, N.Y.
Wahlig anchored the Loyola defense that held Lehigh to 10 shots and only two on target as the Greyhounds played the Mountain Hawks to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.
