CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – No. 2 Boston University (14-7) travels to Storrs, Connecticut to take on the top-ranked UConn Huskies (19-0) on Saturday morning at 11:30 a.m. in the NCAA Division I Field Hockey Tournament Second Round.
The Terriers defeated MAAC-Champion Fairfield, 5-0, on Wednesday afternoon at New Balance Field in Boston. Senior Allie Renzi and sophomore Kiley Gallagher each scored two goals, while the defense held the Stags to just three shots, one on goal.
Admission for Saturday morning’s second round match at UConn’s Sherman Family Complex is $5 for adults and $3 for youth. The winner of the second round game will advance to the NCAA Final Four at Trager Stadium in Louisville, Ky.
