CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Patriot League and CBS Sports Network announced its television schedule for the 2018 spring season, featuring a dozen lacrosse contests (10 men’s, two women’s) and one baseball game.
The semifinal and championship rounds of the Patriot League Men’s Lacrosse Championship will be televised by CBS Sports Network for the 10th-consecutive season. The semifinal round is set for Friday, April 27, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, April 29. All three games will be hosted by the tournament’s top overall seed. The Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Championship will also be televised live by CBS Sports Network on Sunday, May 6 at noon.
Navy, the 2017 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Champion, will open the spring schedule when they host Colgate for a lacrosse doubleheader at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium on Saturday, March 17. Coverage between the Mids and Raiders is scheduled for 11 a.m. The Navy men’s team hosts the 2017 Patriot League Men’s Champion Loyola Maryland at 1:30 p.m.
The Midshipmen baseball team will host Army West Point on Sunday, March 25 at Terwilliger Brothers Field at Max Bishop Stadium.
A men’s lacrosse tripleheader will be televised live on CBS Sports Network on Saturday, April 7, beginning with Loyola Maryland at Lehigh at 1 p.m. Army West Point at Boston University follows at 3:15 p.m., while Colgate at Navy caps the day of coverage at 5:30 p.m.
Two more games will be featured on CBS Sports Network the following week, on Saturday, April 14. Army West Point hosts Navy (noon), before Lehigh hosts Cornell (2:30 p.m.).
Regular-season men’s lacrosse coverage ends on Friday, April 20 when Loyola Maryland hosts Army West Point at the Ridley Athletic Complex at 7 p.m.
