Patriot League Announces Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll

Women's Soccer Academic Honor Roll

CENTER VALLEY, Pa.
– Patriot League women’s soccer teams combined to place 164 student-athletes on the sport’s Academic Honor Roll for their performance in the fall semester.
 
Loyola Maryland led with 24 student-athletes on their list and were followed closely by Bucknell with 22. Boston University, American and Army were next with 19, 18 and 17 respectively, while Lafayette had 16 and Colgate and Lehigh were tied at 15. Holy Cross also reached double digits with 11.
 
All 11 student-athletes named to the Women’s Soccer Academic All-Patriot League squad earned a spot on the Academic Honor Roll, including the 2016 Patriot League Corvias Women’s Soccer Scholar-Athlete Kendall Ham.
 
American and Bucknell each had three student-athletes achieve a 4.00 grade-point average in the fall semester, while Army West Point sophomore Megan Gagnon (Life Science) led all women’s soccer student-athletes with a 4.330 grade-point average.
 
American senior Alexandra Day (Foreign Language and Communications), junior Kira Flaherty (Biology), senior Marley Jennings (Accounting); Boston University senior Rachel Bloznalis (Health Science; Bucknell senior Sarah Bressette (sociology), juniors Karli Cirovski (markets & innovative design and Kendall Ham (Biology); Colgate junior Eliza Doll (economics); Holy Cross junior Caitlin Harty (Mathematics); and Navy junior Meghan Hegarty (operations research) each achieved a 4.00 GPA in the fall.
 
Student-athletes who earned the honor roll for a fourth time in their career includes American’s Alexandra Day, Marley Jennings, Danielle Krachie, and Megan O’Keefe; Army West Point’s Kayla Swasey; Boston University’s Rachel Bloznalis; Bucknell’s Cora Climo and Alexis Gannon; Colgate’s Sophi Lederer; Lafayette’s Kaelin King, Melissa Lynskey, Elizabeth Scoda, Joanna Scotti and Danielle Sedillo; Loyola’s Morgan Crable, Jess Soldiviero and Kelsey Targarona; and Navy’s Chelsea Pixa.
 
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the semester of their sport’s competition.
