CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Patriot League Network (PLN) Top Plays of the Year Challenge comes down to a soccer match and fans can go vote right now on Twitter (@PatriotLeagueTV).
Bucknell's Cora Climo had the top seed in the Top Play Challenge (seeds were selected at random) and her golden goal in the women's soccer championship has held serve throughout the first three rounds to make it to the championship matchup. She faces off against the No. 11 seed, Colgate's Ricky Brown, who made a diving stop in penalty kicks to lock up the men's soccer championship for the Raiders.
The two plays from the pitch square off on Twitter and the winner will have their play featured in the intro of the Patriot League Network's weekly show,
Top Three Plays of the Week, this next academic season.
The contest, which began two weeks ago, features top plays from the Patriot League Network’s weekly “Top Three Plays” segments from throughout the academic year. All top plays were placed at random into a bracket of 16.
