Complete List of the 2018 Softball Academic Honor Roll Recipients
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The seven Patriot League softball teams combined to place 85 student-athletes on the sport’s Academic Honor Roll, announced Friday.
Colgate led the League with 18 honorees followed by Holy Cross with 14 student-athletes and Bucknell with 13. Lafayette followed closely with 12, while Boston University and Lehigh were both represented with 11 student-athletes each. Army West Point rounded out the list with six recipients.
All 12 student-athletes named to the Softball Academic All-Patriot League squad also received a spot on the Academic Honor Roll, including Holy Cross junior Jackie Brewster, an Accounting major and the 2018 Patriot League Softball Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Boston University senior Jilee Schanda was one of the eight Patriot League student-athletes to record a perfect 4.0 grade-point average (GPA) during the 2018 spring semester and was one of the 12 honorees who made her fourth appearance on the list.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 grade-point average in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
