CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Lehigh earned two awards while Army West Point, Colgate and Holy Cross each won one Patriot League men’s soccer weekly award on Monday. Colgate’s Uyi Omorogbe received offensive player of the week honors for the first time this season, while Lehigh’s Trevor Koski earned midfielder of the week accolades. Army West Point’s Eric Whiteman won defensive player of the week, Lehigh’s Will Smith received goalkeeper of the week honors for the second time this season and Holy Cross’ Simon Becher nabbed rookie of the week to round out this week’s honors.

This week features 10 men’s soccer matches around the Patriot League with six on the
Patriot League Network (PLN). On Tuesday, Lafayette hosts Quinnipiac at 7 p.m. before conference play starts on Friday. Colgate is on the road at Loyola Maryland at 5 p.m. on Friday, followed by Boston University vs. American (1 p.m.), Bucknell vs. Lafayette (3 p.m.) and Army West Point vs. Lehigh (7 p.m.) all on Saturday. On Sunday, Holy Cross hosts Navy at 1 p.m. to close out the week on PLN.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

* Omorogbe netted the game-winning goal against No. 24 Vermont on Sunday, leading the Raiders to a 2-1 victory.
* The senior’s goal came in the 36th minute of the game was his first one of the season.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Trevor Koski, Lehigh, So., M, Bethlehem, Pa.
* Koski earned the assist that ended up being the golden goal in the 103rd minute for Lehigh as they defeated Rider 1-0 in double overtime.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Eric Whiteman, Army West Point, So., D, Elgin, Ill.
* Whiteman scored three goals in two games to help Army post a 2-0 week.
* Against Siena, he netted his first collegiate goal before adding a second score later in the match. Against Mount St. Mary’s on Saturday, he added an insurance goal in the second half.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Will Smith, Lehigh, Jr., GK, Devon, Pa.
* Smith added two more shutouts to his career tally against Rider and Penn this past week.
* The junior made four saves in each game for the Mountain Hawks, as he lowered his goals against average to 0.81 on the season.
PATRIOT LEAGUE MEN’S SOCCER ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Simon Becher, Holy Cross, Fr., F, Brooklyn, Conn.
* Becher scored all three of the Cursaders’ goals this past week.
* The rookie scored his first career goal as the game-tying goal against ACC opponent Boston College, before adding a two-goal performance against Hartford on Saturday.

* Carlsson scored the game-tying goal in the 80th minute to force overtime at UConn on Saturday night.

* Mason scored his first collegiate goal and the lone goal in Loyola Maryland’s 1-0 win over St. John’s last Tuesday.
Justin Stoll, Army West Point, Jr., GK, Pompton Lakes, N.J.
* Stoll posted back-to-back shutout victories in goal to help Army go 2-0 on the week as he made five saves.
