CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – Army West Point, Lafayette and Navy each captured one of the three Patriot League Baseball Weekly Awards when the League office announced honors on Tuesday.
Navy junior second baseman Zach Biggers claimed his first Patriot League Player of the Week honor of the season by batting .526 (10-for-19) with two doubles, six RBIs and two stolen bases to help Navy to a 3-2 week. He went 7-for-11 with four RBIs to help the Mids take two-of-three games against Holy Cross.
Army West Point senior right-handed pitcher Daniel Burggraaf picked up his first Patriot League Pitcher of the Week of the campaign and second of his career after throwing 7.0 shutout innings in a victory over Lehigh on Saturday.
Lafayette freshman utility player Zach Savage was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week for the first time after going 4-for-6 with two runs and three RBIs in wins against Villanova and Bucknell. Savage’s first collegiate hit drove in a run to give Lafayette the lead against the Wildcats to help them earn an opportunity to defend its Liberty Bell Classic title.
Army West Point junior centerfielder Jacob Hurtubise, Holy Cross junior centerfielder Austin Masel, and Holy Cross sophomore RHP Liam Dvorak and Lafayette sophomore RHP Michael Dunn were selected as weekly honorable mentions.

PATRIOT LEAGUE BASEBALL UPCOMING GAMES (How to Watch)
The six Patriot League baseball teams will combine to play seven games on Tuesday and Wednesday, before a full slate of League games this weekend. LEHIGH RECORDS HISTORIC COMEBACK VICTORY
Lehigh erased an 11-run deficit, the programs largest in the Patriot League era, in a 20-15 victory in 10 innings against Saint Joseph’s on Wednesday, April 3. The Mountain Hawks trailed 11-0 after two innings before scoring 20 runs on 21 hits, including six runs in the top of the 10th inning. Senior catcher Jeff Shanfeldt went 4-for-5 with three runs scored and five RBIs and junior second baseman Tony Gallo went 4-for-6 with four runs scored and three RBIs in the comeback victory.

LAFAYETTE REACHES LIBERTY BELL CLASSIC CHAMPIONSHIP
Sophomore right-handed pitcher Michael Dunn allowed one run over 5.0 innings to lead Lafayette to an 8-6 victory over Villanova last Thursday to advance to the Liberty Bell Classic Championship Game for the second straight season. The Leopards will have a chance to repeat as champions against Delaware at Citizens Bank Park on April 23. Lafayette defeated the Blue Hens, 9-4, in last year’s championship game at the Philadelphia Phillies’ ballpark.

PATRIOT LEAGUE STUDENT-ATHLETES AMONG NCAA DI LEADERS
*Navy senior RHP Noah Song leads NCAA DI in strikeouts (99), strikeouts per nine innings (16.92), complete games (4) and is among the nation’s leaders in ERA (28th, 1.54).
*Song is 10th in NCAA DI with six wins while Army West Point senior LHP Tyler Giovinco and Holy Cross sophomore RHP Liam Dvorak are tied for 31st in the nation with five wins apiece.
*Lehigh senior outfielder Ryan Malloy is 38th in the nation with a .688 slugging percentage.
*Army West Point sophomore 1B Anthony Giachin is 22nd in NCAA DI with 13 doubles this season.
*Navy senior catcher Christian Hodge and Lehigh senior outfielder Ryan Malloy are tied for 44th in the nation with eight home runs. Hodge is 47th in NCAA DI with 35 RBIs.
*Army West Point junior outfielder Jacob Hurtubise is eighth in the nation averaging 0.81 stolen bases per game and 31st with 1.23 runs per game.

*Burggraaf scattered four hits over 7.0 shutout innings to earn a 14-0 victory over Lehigh in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday.
*The Allyn, Wash. native struck out seven and walked two while holding the Mountain Hawks to a .167 batting average.
*Burggraaf holds a 2.51 ERA through 46.2 innings pitched this season and leads the Black Knights with 45 strikeouts.
