CENTER VALLEY, Pa. - The six Patriot League women's golf programs combined to place 28 student-athletes on the 2018-19 Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll when it was announced by the League office on Tuesday.
Bucknell recorded a League-high eight representatives on the Academic Honor Roll, while Holy Cross placed six student-athletes on the list. Both League champion Boston University and Richmond had four student-athletes on the 2018-19 academic honor roll with Lehigh and Navy each having three student-athletes receive recognition.
All five members of the 2019 Academic All-Patriot League Women's Team made the academic honor roll, including 2019 Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year Reagan Jahn of Lehigh. Boston University junior Annie Sritragul, Bucknell senior Katie Childers, Navy junior Morgan Frazier and Richmond sophomore Lizzie Reedy each made the honor roll.
Six Patriot League women's golf student-athletes registered a perfect 4.0-grade point average (GPA) during the spring semester, including Childers, Jahn, Bucknell freshman Sally Sohn, Lehigh junior Minuette Laessig, Navy freshman Shannon Gould and Richmond senior Annie Collom.
Childers and Jahn earned a spot on the academic honor roll during each of their four years. Frazier and Laessig joined Holy Cross's Maddie Belden on the academic honor roll for the third time.
To be eligible for the Patriot League Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.20 GPA in the spring semester and participate in one of the Patriot League's winter or spring championship sports.
