Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Players of the Week Announced (2.23.26)

Loyola’s Faklaris and Murphy, Holy Cross’ Levy-Smith, Lehigh’s Snow and Navy’s Giglio earn weekly honors

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland earned two of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards when the League announced honors on Monday. Holy Cross, Lehigh and Navy each claimed one accolade.
 
Loyola Maryland senior Elisa Faklaris earned Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week after totaling six goals and one assist during the Greyhounds’ 1-1 week. She scored four goals and dished out one assist in a loss to No. 10 Florida. Freshman defender Mae Murphy collected her second Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honor after recording 27 draw controls in two games, including 11 in a 14-11 victory over No. 9 Princeton.
 
Holy Cross senior Racheli Levy-Smith collected her second straight Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, and the fourth of her career, posting nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls in a loss at Brown.
 
Lehigh junior Molly Snow claimed her first Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Attacker of the Week award after totaling 14 points on seven goals and seven assists in wins over Iona (12-7) and Columbia (18-15) last week.
 
Navy junior Felicia Giglio claimed her second straight Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week, leading the Mids to a 2-0 week with wins over Delaware (15-10) and High Point (14-6). She finished the week with a .483 save percentage and a 7.97 goals-against average.
 
Army West Point senior attack Allison Reilly, Boston University junior goalkeeper Natalie Aiosa and sophomore defender Kaitlyn Barton, Bucknell freshman attack Caleigh Cummiskey, Loyola Maryland sophomore attack Morgan Quade and Navy sophomore attack Alyssa Chung, junior defender Jaclyn Johns and senior midfielder Ava Yovino received honorable mentions for their performances last week.
 
The Patriot League women’s lacrosse players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ATTACKER OF THE WEEK
Molly Snow, Lehigh, Jr., Attack, Wilton, Conn./Wilton
*Snow totaled 14 points on seven goals and seven assists to help Lehigh go 2-0 last week, with wins over Iona (12-7) and Columbia (18-15). She added six draw controls, three caused turnovers and three ground balls in two games.  
She posted six goals and one assist against the Lions on Sunday. Against Iona, she finished with one goal and six assists.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Elisa Faklaris, Loyola Maryland, Sr., Midfielder, Penfield, N.Y./Penfield Senior
*Faklaris posted four goals and one assist in the Greyhounds’ 17-13 loss to No. 10 Florida on Tuesday.
*She scored two goals in a 14-10 victory over No. 9 Princeton on Saturday.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Racheli Levy-Smith, Holy Cross, Sr., Defender, Margate, N.J./Ocean City
*Levy-Smith totaled nine draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls in Holy Cross’ loss at Brown on Thursday.
*The senior defender is third in NCAA DI in caused turnovers (3.0 per game) and sixth in draw controls (14.0 per game).
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Felicia Giglio, Navy, Jr., Goalkeeper, Bayport, N.Y./Bayport Blue-Point
*Giglio posted a .483 save percentage with 14 saves to help Navy go 2-0 last week with wins against Delaware (15-10) and High Point (14-6).
*She made seven saves and allowed just five goals in nearly 53 minutes in Navy’s 14-6 win over High Point on Saturday. She also had four ground balls and three caused turnovers.
 
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mae Murphy, Loyola Maryland, Fr., Defender/Draw Specialist, Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown
*Murphy opened the week with 16 draw controls in the Greyhounds’ 17-13 loss to No. 10 Florida. She also caused one turnover.
*The freshman defender won 11 draws, helping Loyola Maryland hold a 20-6 advantage in draws in a 14-10 win over No. 9 Princeton.
 
HONORABLE MENTIONS
Allison Reilly, Army West Point, Sr., Attack, Sayville, N.Y./Sayville
*Reilly recorded 10 points on two goals and eight assists to go along with four caused turnovers, three ground balls and three draw controls in the Black Knights’ 13-7 win over ACC opponent Florida State. Her eight assists are an NCAA DI single-game high and an Army West Point program record
 
Natalie Aiosa, Boston University, Jr., Goalkeeper, Catonsville, Md./Mount De Sales Academy
*Aiosa recorded a .479 save percentage with 23 saves in two games to help the Terriers go 1-1 last week. She made 12 saves, while allowing eight goals, against Marist to eclipse 300 career saves. She made 11 saves with three ground balls in a loss against Yale.
 
Kaitlyn Barton, Boston University, So., Defender, Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury
*Barton totaled 14 draw controls, five ground balls and two caused turnovers to help Boston University go 1-1 last week. She posted nine draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover in an 11-8 win over Marist.  
 
Caleigh Cummiskey, Bucknell, Fr., Attack, Darien, Conn./Darien
*Cummiskey finished with seven points on five goals and two assists in Bucknell’s 14-13 victory over St. Bonaventure on Saturday. She also added four draw controls and one ground ball. The freshman attack scored what proved to be the game-winning goal with 2:56 remaining in regulation.
 
Morgan Quade, Loyola Maryland, So., Attack, Centreville, Md./Saints Peter and Paul
*Quade posted a career-high five points on three goals and two assists in the Greyhounds’ 14-10 victory over No. 9 Princeton. She also had one assist in a loss against No. 10 Florida.
 
Alyssa Chung, Navy, So., Attack, Severna Park, Md./Severna Park
*Chung scored eight goals and dished out three assists in Navy’s wins against Delaware (15-10) and High Point (14-6) last week. The sophomore attack finished the week 8-for-8 shooting, including 2-of-2 on free-position opportunities.  
 
Jaclyn Johns, Navy, Jr., Defender, Marietta, Ga./Blessed Trinity Catholic
*Johns led a Mids’ defense that limited opponents to 8.0 goals per game during a 2-0 week. She picked up two ground balls and caused a turnover in a 15-10 win over Delaware. She held High Point’s top attacker scoreless in a 14-6 win on Saturday.
 
Ava Yovino, Navy, Sr., Midfielder, Parkland, Fla./St. Thomas Aquinas
*Yovino posted eight points on four goals and four assists in addition to picking up three ground balls and two draw controls in the Mids’ 15-10 win over Delaware. She picked up three ground balls in a 14-6 victory over High Point on Saturday.
