Patriot League Tournament Tidbits
Pat Flannery leads all coaches with 16 career Patriot League wins, followed by Ralph Willard (Holy Cross, 15) and Don DeVoe (Navy, 13) ... Holy Cross leads the way with four Patriot League championships, followed by Navy (3), Bucknell, Colgate and Lafayette (2) and Lehigh and Fordham (1) ... Five current Patriot League schools have won two or more consecutive Patriot League Championships - Bucknell (2005-06), Holy Cross (2001-03), Lafayette (1999-2000), Navy (1997-98), and Colgate (1995-96) ... Former Patriot League member Fordham (1991-92) won the initial two League titles ... Keith Simmons of Holy Cross and Chris McNaughton of Bucknell are the only two returning members of last season's All-Tournament squad. McNaughton was also a member of the 2005 All-Tournament Team, while Lehigh's Jason Mgebroff was part of the 2004 Patriot League All-Tournament squad.

This marks the third consecutive season that Bucknell and Holy Cross have each captured at least 20 victories in a season ... The Patriot League enters the tournament ranked 17th in the College Basketball News RPI Ratings ... Eighteen Patriot League contests were determined by five points, led by six games each by Colgate and Lehigh ... Bucknell (4-1), Lehigh (4-2), Holy Cross (2-1), Colgate (3-3), Army (3-3), Navy (1-1), Lafayette (1-1) and American (0-5). In addition, four Patriot League games went into overtime.

American The Eagles have advanced to the Patriot league semifinals during each of its six years in the League ... American last advanced to the Championship game in 2004, when they dropped a 59-57 decision at Lehigh ... They have faced Holy Cross just once before in Patriot League Tournament action (2003 championship, lost 72-64).

Army The Black Knights' 47-46 win over Lehigh is its first triumph in the Patriot League Tournament since 1996, snapping a 10-game losing streak in the conference tourney ... In both the 1995 and 1996 Tournaments, Army upset the number two seed in the quarterfinals (Bucknell in 1995 and Navy in 1996) ... This marks the Black Knights' third semifinal appearance in the history of the Patriot League Tournament ... Army is looking for its first Patriot League Championship game appearance ... This marks the fifth encounter between Army and Bucknell in the Patriot League Tournament ... Bucknell owns a 3-1 advantage, including a 59-47 win a year ago at Sojka.

Bucknell After missing nearly a month of League play, Donald Brown registered game highs with 15 points and nine rebounds ... Bucknell's 13-game win streak is the longest within one season in school history ... There have been five other streaks of 13 or more wins, but each of them bridged from one year to the next and none occurred after 1919 ... Lehigh hosted a quarterfinal game this past Wednesday and fell to the Army Black Knights by one point ... Jose Olivero ended his career at Lehigh as the number six all-time points scorer in the Patriot League with 1,762 points.

Navy Wednesday night was the Midshipmen's last game of the season as Bucknell took the win, 62-43 ... Kina Kaleo scored 12 points and had five field goals.
