CENTER VALLEY, Pa. -- The Patriot League Field Hockey 25th Anniversary Team was announced on Thursday with seven former players from American and five from both Lafayette and Holy Cross making the squad and representation from eight schools who have participated in League competition.

The team members are listed below by school, with playing years representing the seasons of competition within the Patriot League. Each school that participates in field hockey selected 25 players in the voting for the 25th Anniversary Team, and could not vote for its own student-athletes.

The 25 honorees represent the best of the Patriot League era from 1990-2014, with the group combining to win 28 individual League awards for Player, Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year. The honorees have also combined to make 22 All-America squads and earn 77 All-Patriot League honors, while six 25th Anniversary Team members also appeared on the Patriot League All-Decade Team which was selected for competition from 1990-2000. The honorees also led their teams to success as 23 of the 25 Patriot League champions featured at least one 25th Anniversary Team member on the squad.

The Patriot League is releasing 25th Anniversary Teams throughout the month of August for each sport that has been sponsored by the League since it became an all-sport conference beginning in the 1990-91 season. In addition to the 25th Anniversary Teams, coverage throughout the 2015-16 season will focus on former student-athletes and top stories in the history of the Patriot League.

More information on the Patriot League Field Hockey 25th Anniversary Team members is included below, with the honorees listed alphabetically. All seasons listed designate the player's years of competition within the Patriot League.

Patriot League Field Hockey 25th Anniversary Team

Almira Baldwin, Bucknell (1990-93) -- Baldwin was a standout throughout her tenure at Bucknell as she made the All-Patriot League squad in each of her four seasons, and stands as one of only four honorees to earn first-team status in each of her playing years. Baldwin also made the Patriot League All-Decade Team.

Lauren Campbell, Bucknell (1998-01) -- Campbell excelled as a senior in 2001 when she was named a third-team NFHCA All-American and first-team All-Patriot League selection while also claiming the League's Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor. The Bison played in the Patriot League title game in her sophomore and junior seasons.

Andrea Dagostino, Lafayette (1990-93) -- Dagostino played in the first four seasons of Patriot League competition and led her team to the championship each year with a perfect 16-0 record in League contests. She also helped Lafayette win the ECAC Tournament at home in 1990 and again as a senior in 1993 when she earned third-team NFHCA All-America status. Dagostino was a first-team All-Patriot League selection in her final three seasons for the Leopards, and was also a member of the Patriot League All-Decade Team.

Maureen Daniel, American (2002-05) -- Daniel played a key role on a team that went 16-0 in League action and won the Patriot League title over her last three seasons. She particularly stood out as a senior by winning the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year award and being named a second-team NFHCA All-American in 2005. Daniel earned second-team All-Patriot League status in 2003 before being named to the first team the following two seasons.

Deanna DiCroce, Lafayette (2009-12) -- DiCroce led the Leopards to back-to-back Patriot League titles as a junior and senior while earning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honors in both 2011 and 2012. She added third-team NFHCA All-America status as well as Patriot League Tournament MVP honors as a senior. DiCroce is one of four players that was named to the first-team All-Patriot League squad in each of her four seasons. She stands second in Patriot League history with 149 points and is third in both goals (53) and assists (43).

Amy Earley, Lehigh (1990-92) -- Earley was a standout player in her three seasons in the Patriot League. She was named Patriot League Player of the Year in 1992 and earned All-League status in each of the three years. Earley also added a spot on the Patriot League All-Decade Team.

Amanda Faust, Bucknell (2005-08) -- Faust is a four-time All-Patriot League selection who earned first-team status in each of her final three seasons. She helped the Bison make it to the Patriot League title game in her senior season. Faust is the school's all-time leader with 34 assists and third in program history with 92 points.

Suzi Farrell, Lafayette (1990-91) -- Farrell had a memorable two seasons in the Patriot League as he was named Player of the Year in both 1990 and 1991 (Co), a two-time first-team All-League selection and a second-team NFHCA All-American in 1990. Farrell did it all for a Lafayette team that won both Patriot League titles and went 8-0 in League action during her tenture, and also won the ECAC Tournament at home in 1990 to complete a 19-3 season. Farrell was a member of the Patriot League All-Decade Team, and is still tied for the League's single-season record with 33 goals in 1990.

Christine Fingerhuth, American (2007-10) -- Fingerhuth excelled for the Eagles as a two-time Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year (2009 and 2010) as well as a two-time NFHCA All-American (3rd-team, 2008 and 1st-team, 2010) She earned first-team All-Patriot League status in her final three seasons for the Eagles. Fingerhuth's teams won the Patriot League title in each of her four seasons, and she earned League Tournament MVP recognition in both 2008 and 2010.

Michele Gagne, Holy Cross (1991-1994) -- Gagne had a standout career that was capped by a Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honor in 1994. She made the All-Patriot League Team in each of her final three seasons and was also selected to the League's All-Decade Team. She led the Patriot League in both goals and points in three straight seasons from 1992-94.

Camila Infante, American (2003-06) -- Infante led the Eagles to the Patriot League title in all four of her seasons, with her team going 21-0 in regular-season League contests during her tenure. She was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year in both 2004 and 2005 and earned second-team NFHCA All-America status in both of those seasons along with 2006, making Infante one of only two Patriot Leaguers to earn three-time All-America recognition. Infante is one of four players to earn first-team All-Patriot League status in each of her four seasons, and was named League Tournament Most Valuable Player as a senior in 2006.

Denise Infante, American (2004-07) -- Infante was a defensive stalwart that helped lead American to the Patriot League title in each of her four seasons, as well as a perfect 20-0 record in League contests. She was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in both 2006 and 2007, and earned NFHCA All-America status each year with a second-team selection in 2006 and first-team honor in 2007. Infante is a four-time All-Patriot League selection who made the first team in each of her last three seasons. She is also the only three-time MVP of the Patriot League Tournament, earning the honor in 2004, 2005 and 2007.

Kandiss Kulp, Fairfield (1996-99) -- Kulp had a standout career for Fairfield which included the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year award as a senior in 1999. She was a three-time All-League selection, with first-team honors in both her junior and senior seasons. The goalkeeper stands second in League history with 779 career saves.

Sofi Laurito, Boston University (2013-pres.) -- Laurito has made a significant impact in her first two seasons in the Patriot League, including earning the Offensive Player of the Year award and earning second-team NFHCA All-America status in 2014 while helping lead the Terriers to the League title. Laurito has earned first-team All-Patriot League recognition in each of her two seasons and enters her senior campaign in 2015.

Annie Lavigne, Holy Cross (1997-2000) -- Lavigne was a standout player during an impressive era for the Crusaders as she played on the school's three Patriot League championship teams in 1997, 1998 and 2000. She was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year and Tournament MVP as a senior in 2000, and earned All-Patriot League status in her final three seasons with first-team honors in the last two.

Hilary Meyer, Colgate (1995-98) -- Meyer was a standout in goal during her career with the Raiders and was named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year in both 1996 (Co) and 1997. She led the Raiders to their only League title in 1996. Meyer earned first-team All-Patriot League status in both 1996 and 1997 before a second-team selection in 1998, and also made the Patriot League All-Decade Team. She ranks third in League history with 700 career saves.

Megan Monahan, Lafayette (1999-02) -- Monahan stands as the Patriot League's all-time leader in both goals (65) and points (160), and went out in style as a senior in 2002 with a League single-season record for goals (33) and points (80). She was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year in both 2001 and 2002, and added second-team NFHCA All-America status in the latter season. Monahan was a first-team All-Patriot League honoree in each of her final three seasons. The Leopards won the Patriot League title in her freshman and senior season, when Monahan was named the League Tournament MVP.

Shelly Montgomery, American (2010-13) -- Montgomery led the Eagles to their most recent Patriot League title as she was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and a second-team NFHCA All-American as a senior in 2013 while also receiving League Tournament MVP recognition. Montgomery is a four-time All-Patriot League honoree who made the second team as a freshman and sophomore and first team as a junior and senior.

Irene Schickhardt, American (2005-08) -- Schickhardt concluded her career with a Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year honor and first-team NFHCA All-America status as a senior in 2008, when she was also named the Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. It was her second All-America nod as she also earned a third-team honor in 2006. Schickhardt was a four-time All-Patriot League selection who made the second-team as a freshman before earning first-team status in her final three years. American won four Patriot League titles and was 20-0 in League contests over her four seasons.

Erin Singleton, Holy Cross (2005-08) -- Singleton won the Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year award in three consecutive seasons from 2006-08, and remains the only player in League history to win any individual award three times. She was also a first-team All-Patriot League honoree in each of the three seasons and led the League in save percentage in the final two years.

Jennifer Stone, Lafayette (2000-03) -- Stone was a first-team All-Patriot League selection in her final three seasons and excelled as a senior when she was named Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year and a second-team NFHCA All-American in 2003. Stone was part of Lafayette's Patriot League championship team in 2002. She is now entering her third season as head coach of the Lafayette field hockey team after serving as an assistant for six years, helping the team to the Patriot League title in both 2011 and 2012.

Liz Tutella, Holy Cross (1999-02) -- Tutella was named a third-team NFHCA All-American as a senior in 2002 to cap her career. She was also selected to the All-Patriot League Team in each of her final three seasons, with first-team honors in the final two. She played on the 2000 Patriot League championship team for the Crusaders.

Javiera Villagra, American (2002-05) -- Villagra made an impact on Patriot League title-winning teams for the Eagles in 2003, 2004 and 2005, with her squad going 16-0 in League action and 56-9 overall in those three seasons. She was named an All-American by the NFHCA in each campaign, with a second-team honor in 2003 and first-team status in both 2004 and 2005. She is one of two Patriot Leaguers to earn three All-America honors, and the only person to make the first team more than once.

Tara Welch, Holy Cross (2003-06) -- Welch was named the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year as a senior in 2006 in addition to being named a three-time All-Patriot League selection, with first-team honors in her final two seasons. She stands second in Patriot League history with 59 goals and fifth with 136 points, and is the Holy Cross career leader in each category.

Mary-Alice Zavocki, Lehigh (1990-94) -- Zavocki had a standout career at Lehigh that includes the three highest save totals in Patriot League history, including a 450-save freshman season in 1990 that still stands as the NCAA record and is 39 more than any other player in NCAA history. Zavocki holds the Patriot League career record with 1,273 saves, which is only 19 off the NCAA record. She was a first-team All-Patriot League selection in both 1991 and 1994, when she was also named the Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year. Zavocki added the Patriot League Tournament MVP honor by leading Lehigh to the title in the first League Tournament in 1994, making 27 saves in the final against Lafayette to keep the game scoreless before the Mountain Hawks won on strokes for their lone League title.
