*Bucknell freshman running back Jared Cooper was awarded the Johnny Turco Memorial Trophy for Most Outstanding Player on Holy Cross Homecoming Day. His touchdown gave the Bison the lead over Holy Cross in the third quarter.
*With Colgate’s 23-0 shutout win over William & Mary, the Raiders have now held back-to-back opponents scoreless for the first time since 1966.
*Lafayette senior running back C.J. Amill scored three touchdowns, including the game-winner with less than a minute in the fourth quarter, to help the Leopards’ record their first victory of the season.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Bucknell senior safety Joe Lauro broke up two pass attempts on Holy Cross’s final drive of the game to clinch a 19-16 victory, spoiling the Crusaders’ Homecoming Day at Fitton Field.
*Cooper rushed for 123 yards on 24 carries, including a 36-yard touchdown run to put the Bison in front at the 9:25 in the third quarter. Bucknell would never trail again.
*Holy Cross junior running back Domenic Crozier’s seven-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was enough to allow the Crusaders to take a 7-6 lead into halftime. Bison sophomore placekicker Ethan Torres hit a pair of second-quarter field goals.
*Bucknell took the lead in the third quarter on Cooper’s touchdown run, then extended it to 19-7 when sophomore quarterback Logan Bitikofer threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to senior receiver Alan Butler in the fourth quarter.
*After the Crusaders’ offense was denied at the goal line, Holy Cross senior defensive lineman Neil Vorster recorded a safety with 8:10 remaining in the game to bring Holy Cross within 10 points, at 19-9.
*Holy Cross senior quarterback Geoff Wade connected with senior receiver Richie DeNicola on a 59-yard touchdown with 6:57 left, bringing the Crusaders within three points, at 19-16.
*The Bison defense forced Holy Cross to turn the ball over on downs on its final drive to seal the win.
*Bucknell sophomore defensive lineman Simeon Page and freshman defensive lineman Grayson Cherubino registered 3.0 tackles for loss (TFL) and 2.0 sacks apiece.  
*Holy Cross senior receiver Martin Dorsey had 10 catches for 167 yards, both career-highs.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Georgetown closed out the non-League portion of its schedule, falling to Brown 35-7 at Brown Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
*Freshman receiver Joshua Tomas rushed for 57 yards on four carries, including a 17-yard touchdown run at the 11:40 mark in the third quarter.
*Sophomore running back Jackson Saffold rushed for 82 yards on 16 carries.
*Junior defensive lineman Khristian Tate finished with seven tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss and 1.0 sack, while sophomore linebacker Owen Kessler had 2.0 TFL and 1.0 sack. Senior defensive back Blaise Brown had a team-leading eight tackles.

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – No. 23/24 Colgate remained undefeated as the defense forced three turnovers to hold William & Mary scoreless in a 23-0 victory at Zable Stadium on Saturday.
*The shutout is the second-straight for the Raiders, and the first time they have posted back-to-back shutouts since 1966.
*Junior running back Alex Mathews put the Raiders on the board with a one-yard touchdown at 10:08 in the first quarter. Senior running back James Holland led the ground game with 87 yards on 20 carries and a third-quarter touchdown.
*Senior linebacker T.J. Holl led the way with 12 tackles, 2.0 TFL’s, 1.0 sack and a forced fumble.
*The Raiders defense forced three turnovers, with junior cornerback Abu Daramy-Swaray picking off a pass for the second-straight game, while senior linebacker Dillon DeIuliis and senior defensive back Ben Hunt IV both recovered fumbles.
*Junior Chris Puzzi connected on all three of his field goal attempts, hitting from 26, 25 and 47 yards and made both extra points for the Raiders.
*Colgate’s defense has not allowed a touchdown to an opposing offense since the fourth quarter of its season opener against Holy Cross on Sept. 1.

EASTON, Pa. – Senior running back C.J. Amill rushed for a 23-yard touchdown with 33 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to lift Lafayette to a 31-24 victory over Central Connecticut State at Fisher Stadium on Saturday.
*Amill also rushed for an 11-yard touchdown in the second quarter, after scoring the Leopards first points of the game on a 57-yard punt return at the 5:28 mark in the first quarter. He finished with 34 rushing yards on eight carries and 25 receiving yards on three catches.
*Sophomore quarterback Sean O’Malley completed 30-of-41 attempts for 328 yards and a three-yard touchdown pass to freshman tight end Steve Stilianos.
*Senior receiver Chris Granjean had six catches for 104 yards, while junior receiver Quinn Revere had 10 receptions for 86 yards.
*Sophomore linebacker Major Jordan finished with eight tackles, while junior defensive lineman Keith Earle had four tackles and 1.0 sack.
