CENTER VALLEY, Pa. –The 2020 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championships continues on Sunday, March 8 with the semifinal round on CBS Sports Network. No. 7 Bucknell travel to No. 3 Boston University for a noon tip-off. No. 5 Lafayette will look to carry its regular-season success against No. 1 Colgate into the second semifinal game at 2 p.m.
 
The winners of Sunday’s semifinal round matchups will play in the 2020 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship Game on Wednesday, March 11 at the site of the higher seed. Live coverage of the championship game will begin at 7:30 p.m. on CBS Sports Network.

SEASON SERIES: Boston University swept the season series from Bucknell for the first time since the Terriers joined the Patriot League in 2013-14.
*GAME ONE (FEB. 1): Boston University 77, at Bucknell 57 - Senior forward Max Mahoney recorded a double-double with 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Boston University to a 77-57 victory over Bucknell at Sojka Pavilion. The Terriers opened the second half on an 11-0 run, extending their lead to as many as 29 during a second half that saw them shoot 56.7 percent (17-of-30) from the floor. Junior guard Javante McCoy finished with 15 points and five assists while sophomore forward Walter Whyte added 12 points and seven rebounds for Boston University. Bucknell senior guard Avi Toomer finished with a team-high 16 points while sophomore guard Andrew Funk (11) and junior guard Jimmy Sotos (10) both reached double-figures.
*GAME TWO (FEB. 29): At Boston University 74, Bucknell 71 - McCoy's jumper with 29 seconds remaining in the game put Boston University in front for good in a 74-71 comeback win over Bucknell at Case Gym on Saturday. He finished with 17 points while senior forward Max Mahoney led the way with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds for his eighth double-double in League play. Terriers’ sophomore forward Walter Whyte added 13 points to help BU sweep the season series from Bucknell. Bison junior guard Jimmy Sotos finished with a team-high 19 points to go along with three assists and three steals. Sophomore guard Andrew Funk scored 15 points while sophomore guard Walter Ellis added 11.

SEASON SERIES: Lafayette swept the season series from Colgate in a pair of games decided by a combined six points.
*GAME ONE (JAN. 15): At Lafayette 71, Colgate 67 -  Sophomore guard Tyrone Perry connected on a 3-pointer with 2.6 seconds remaining and senior forward Myles Cherry hit a pair of free throws to seal Lafayette’s 71-67 comeback victory over Colgate on School Day at Kirby Sports Center. The Leopards battled back from a 15-point deficit late in the second half, as Perry scored nine of his career-high 19 points during the comeback. Colgate junior guard Jordan Burns led the Raiders with 16 points while sophomore guard Tucker Richardson (14), senior forward Rapolas Ivanauskas (12) and freshman forward Keegan Records (10) all reached double figures.
*GAME TWO (JAN. 29) Lafayette 80, at Colgate 78 - Cherry’s layup with 1:04 left in the game put Lafayette in front for good in an 80-78 victory against first-place Colgate to sweep the season series and hand the Raiders their first home loss of the season. Cherry recorded a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds to go along with five assists. Lafayette junior guard E.J. Stephens scored a team-high 17 points while junior guard Justin Jaworski (15), Perry (14) and freshman forward Leo O’Boyle (12) all reached double figures. Colgate senior forward Rapolas Ivanauskas posted a double-double, scoring a game-high 25 points to go along with 10 rebounds. Junior guard Jordan Burns scored 16 of his 23 points in the second half while senior forward Will Rayman added 13 points and nine rebounds.
