BRONX, N.Y. – Senior quarterback Tim DeMorat threw for 318 yards and a career-high six touchdown passes, three to senior wide receiver Fotis Kokosioulis, to lead Fordham to a 66-21 victory over Bucknell on Jack Coffey Field on Saturday.
*DeMorat, the reigning Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year, completed 26-of-37 passes for 318 yards with a single-game, program-tying six touchdown passes. He finished one touchdown pass shy of tying the Patriot League single-game record.
*Kokosioulis, the League leader in touchdown receptions, caught six passes for 76 yards and a career-high three touchdown passes to give him nine through seven games. He also finished one shy of tying the League’s single-game record.
*The Rams jumped out quickly, scoring on their first two possessions, as DeMorat completed touchdown passes to junior wide receivers Dequece Carter (10 catches, 87 yards, 2 TDs) and Garrett Cody (4 catches, 89 yards, 1 TD) to take a 14-0 lead.
*Bucknell cut the lead in half on a two-yard touchdown run from senior running back Jared Cooper with 4:53 remaining in the first quarter, making the score 14-7.
*Fordham answered as DeMorat threw touchdown passes to Kokosioulis on the next two possessions to extend the lead to 28-7.
*After a Rams’ field goal from Nick Leinenweber, Bucknell found the end zone again on Rushawn Baker’s 22-yard touchdown run. Baker led the Bison rushing attack with 78 yards on seven carries.
*Fordham scored twice more before halftime on DeMorat touchdown passes to Kokosioulis and Carter to take a 45-14 lead into the break.
*Junior running back Trey Wilson III rushed for a 39-yard touchdown in the third quarter, before senior running back Antonio Cortez Feria and sophomore running back Taj Barnes had touchdown runs of 60 and 45 yards, respectively, in the fourth quarter.
*Bucknell sophomore running back Danny Meuser closed on the scoring with a five-yard touchdown run with 42 seconds remaining in the contest.
*Fordham senior running back Trey Sneed finished with 137 yards on 15 carries, in addition to 41 receiving yards on three catches to account for 178 of the Rams’ 697 yards of total offense.
*Rams’ freshman linebacker James Conway finished with a team-high 10 tackles, while senior defensive lineman Alfonzo Dixon IV added eight tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss (TFLs) and 2.0 sacks. Freshman linebacker Matt Jaworski added four tackles, 2.0 TFLs and 1.5 sacks.
*Bucknell freshman cornerback Ethan Robinson finished with a game-high 15 tackles and a forced fumble. Junior linebacker Ben Allen added nine tackles, 2.0 TFLs, 1.0 sack and two forced fumbles.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Sophomore quarterback Matthew Sluka accounted for four touchdowns, passing for two and rushing for two, to lead Holy Cross to a 48-14 victory over Georgetown in its League season opener at Fitton Field on Saturday.
*Sluka completed 7-of-10 passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 92 yards and two touchdowns on 10 carries to pace the Crusaders’ offense.
*Senior running back Peter Oliver rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on eight carries, while sophomore wide receiver Jalen Coker led the team with five catches for 110 receiving yards.
*Georgetown senior wide receiver Joshua Tomas caught seven passes for a game-high 113 receiving yards, while junior quarterback Pierce Holley completed 9-of-12 passes for 160 yards.
*The Crusaders scored first, as Sluka found senior wide receiver Jack Jewell on a 13-yard touchdown pass at the 6:29 mark in the first quarter.
*Oliver and Sluka rushed for touchdowns on consecutive possessions to open the second quarter to extend the lead to 21-0.
*Crusaders’ senior linebacker Liam Anderson returned an interception 39 yards for a touchdown at the end of the second quarter to take a 28-0 lead into halftime. Anderson finished with five tackles, 1.5 TFLs and a half-sack.
*Sluka opened the second-half scoring with a nine-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Tenio Ayeni.
*Georgetown junior running back Joshua Stakely plunged into the end zone from one yard out, completing a two-play drive that included a 58-yard pass from Holley to Tomas, making the score 35-7 with 6:12 left in the third quarter.
*Sluka and freshman running back Jordan Fuller rushed for touchdowns to extend the Crusaders’ lead to 48-7.
*Hoyas’ senior running back Zaire Webb finished the scoring with a one-yard touchdown at the 4:36 mark in the fourth quarter.
*GU senior linebacker Justin Fonteneaux finished with a game-high 10 tackles, while graduate student defensive back Ahmad Wilson added nine tackles.
*Holy Cross senior linebacker Liam Doran had a team-high eight tackles, while junior linebacker Jacob Dobbs had seven tackles, 1.5 TFLs and a half-sack. Senior defensive lineman Benton Whitley recorded six tackles, 2.0 TFLs and 1.0 sack for the Crusaders.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Lafayette could not keep pace with No. 19 Harvard in its final non-League game, falling 30-3 at Harvard Stadium on Saturday.
*Freshman placekicker Micah Pettit booted a 33-yard field goal at the 10:03 mark in the second quarter for the Leopards’ lone score.
*Junior linebacker Marco Olivas finished with 15 tackles and 2.0 TFLs, while junior defensive back Daron Gilbert recorded 11 tackles. Senior linebacker Billy Shaeffer compiled eight tackles, 2.0 TFLs, 1.0 sack and an interception in the loss.
*Freshman quarterback Ah-Shaun Davis completed 18-of-36 passes for 182 yards and two interceptions, while Joe Gillette had a team-high six catches for 65 yards.
*The Crimson found the end zone on their first possession, then kicked a field goal on their final possession of the first quarter to take a 10-0 lead.
*Pettit’s field goal early in the second quarter brought the Leopards within a touchdown, but Harvard answered with a touchdown and field goal before the half to extend the lead to 20-3.
*The Crimson scored 10 more points in the third quarter before a scoreless fourth quarter.

ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior defensive back Will Gruber returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown late in the first quarter, but Colgate fell to Cornell, 34-20, on Friday night at Schoellkopf Stadium.
*Gruber also posted three tackles, two pass breakups and a blocked field goal in the fourth quarter for the Raiders.
*Senior wide receiver Garrett Oakey caught three passes for 98 yards and a fourth-quarter touchdown to lead the Colgate offense.
*Senior defensive back Mikey Jarmolowich registered a game-high 13 tackles, while senior linebacker Milton Braasch II finished with 12 tackles and 1.0 tackle for loss (TFL).
*The Big Red scored first at the 2:03 mark in the first quarter before Gruber returned the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for the longest kickoff return in the Patriot League this season to tie the score.
*Cornell answered with three-consecutive, second-quarter touchdowns to expand the lead to 28-7. Colgate freshman quarterback Michael Brescia scored on a one-yard touchdown run with 38 seconds remaining in the first half to cut the lead to 28-14 at the half.
*The Big Red put the game out of reach in the third quarter with an 82-yard interception return for a touchdown making the score 34-14.
*Oakey caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from sophomore quarterback Harry Kirk to cap a 6-play, 80-yard drive.
