EASTON, Pa. – Senior quarterback Tim DeMorat rushed for a two-yard touchdown with 28 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to lift Fordham to a 42-41 victory over Lafayette at Fisher Stadium.
*DeMorat completed 21-of-37 passes for 305 yards and a touchdown, and senior running back Trey Sneed rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries to lead the Rams to their second consecutive win.
*Fifth-year receiver Hamze El-Zayat caught a career-high 13 passes for 166 yards, and junior receiver MJ Wright had three catches for 71 yards.
*Rams’ freshman linebacker James Conway had a team-high 14 tackles, while senior linebacker Ryan Greenhagen had nine tackles and one sack.
*Lafayette freshman quarterback Ah-Shaun Davis passed for two touchdowns and rushed for a third, while completing 20-of-24 passes for a career-high 354 yards and two touchdowns.
*Junior wide receivers Julius Young and K.J. Rodgers finished with 123 and 114 receiving yards, respectively, while both caught touchdown passes from Davis.
*Senior running back Selwyn Simpson had 19 carries for 110 yards and a touchdown for Lafayette.
*Leopards’ senior linebacker Billy Shaeffer finished with a team-high 12 tackles and 1.0 TFL, while senior defensive lineman Malik Hamm had nine tackles, 2.0 TFLs and 1.0 sack. Senior defensive back Jordan Anderson had nine tackles and five pass breakups.
*The Rams jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead behind touchdown runs from Sneed and junior running back Trey Wilson III.
*Davis responded with a 46-yard touchdown pass to Young to cut Fordham’s lead in half.
*After another Fordham score, Lafayette scored twice on a pair of one-yard runs by Simpson and senior fullback Ty Hranicka to tie the score at 21 going into halftime.
*Davis put the Leopards in the lead for the first time, 28-21, with a 74-yard touchdown pass to Rodgers less than one minute into the third quarter.
*Fordham graduate student defensive lineman Deondre Carter recorded a safety on Lafayette’s next possession to answer the Leopards’ three-touchdown run.
*Senior placekicker Nick Leinenweber connected on his first of two field goals to bring the Rams within two points, at 28-26.
*Lafayette’s Davis and Fordham’s Sneed traded touchdowns between the end of the third and beginning of the fourth quarter before Leinenweber put the Rams in front 36-35 with 7:32 remaining.
*Leopards’ freshman running back Michael Hays capped an 11-play, 75-yard drive with a three-yard touchdown run to give Lafayette a 41-36 lead with 1:40 left in the game.
*DeMorat drove his team 72 yards in nine plays and scored on a two-yard run with 28 seconds left to seal the Rams’ first League win of the season.

WASHINGTON – Colgate senior wide receiver Garrett Oakey caught two touchdown passes, including the eventual game-winner in the fourth quarter to lift the Raiders to a 28-21 victory over Georgetown at Cooper Field.
*Oakey caught five passes for 123 yards and touchdown passes from two different quarterbacks to lead Colgate to its second straight League win.
*Fifth-year quarterback Grant Breneman completed 13-of-17 passes for 173 and a touchdown. Sophomore quarterback Harry Kirk went 3-for-4 for 36 yards and a touchdown.
*Raiders’ senior linebacker Milton Braasch II finished with nine tackles, 3.5 TFLs, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble to lead Colgate’s defense.
*Georgetown fifth-year Jackson Saffold, senior running back Herman Moultrie III and junior running back Joshua Stakely each rushed for touchdowns for the Hoyas.
*Senior linebacker Justin Fonteneaux had seven tackles, 1.0 TFL and a fumble recovery for the Hoyas.
*The Raiders jumped out to a 14-0 first-quarter lead behind a 20-yard catch from Oakey and a 5-yard run from senior running back John Cox.
*Moultrie put the Hoyas on the board with a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, but Colgate’s freshman quarterback Michael Brescia scored moments later to extend the Raiders lead back to 14 points.
*Saffold found the end zone with 1:09 remaining in the second quarter, and Stakely scored at the 9:01 mark in the third quarter to tie the score at 21.
*Oakey caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Kirk with 11:52 remaining to help Colgate improve to 2-0 in League play.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Sophomore quarterback Nick Semptimphelter rushed for a touchdown and threw for another to lead Bucknell to a 21-10 victory over Cornell at Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium.
*Semptimphelter completed 10-of-15 passes for 85 yards in addition to his two scores. Sophomore quarterback Tyler Beverett finished 6-for-9 for 61 passing yards, in addition to 28 rushing yards and a touchdown on eight carries.
*Junior safety Jonathan Searcy had eight tackles, a half-TFL, a forced fumble and an interception to lead a Bucknell defense forced four Big Red turnovers.
*Junior linebacker Ben Allen and junior safety Brent Jackson each finished with nine tackles for the Bison.
*The Bison trailed 10-7 heading into the fourth quarter before Semptimphelter opened the final frame with a four-yard touchdown pass to freshman tight end Christian Spugnardi to cap a 10-play, 78-yard drive.
*Bucknell senior quarterback Sterling Deary intercepted his first pass of the season and returned it to the Cornell 28-yard line to help set up a Semptimphelter two-yard touchdown run.
*The Bison forced turnovers on Cornell’s next two drives, with Searcy forcing a fumble recovered by Allen, and an interception from freshman cornerback Ethan Robinson to help seal the Bucknell victory.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross fell behind early and could not climb back into the game in a 38-13 loss to Harvard at Fitton Field.
*The Crimson jumped out to a 24-0 first-half lead before the Crusaders answered in the third quarter.
*Junior wide receiver Ayir Asante scored on a 59-yard touchdown run at the 9:59 mark in the third quarter.
*Sophomore quarterback Matthew Sluka also found the end zone on a seven-yard run just under two minutes later to make the score 24-13.
*Harvard tacked on two more touchdowns in the fourth quarter to seal a 38-13 win.
*Senior defensive back Terrell Prince and senior linebacker Liam Anderson led the Crusaders with 13 tackles. Anderson also recorded 2.5 TFLs.
*Crusaders’ junior linebacker Jacob Dobbs posted 12 tackles and 1.0 TFL, and senior defensive back Grant Holloman had an interception.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh could not keep pace with Yale, falling 34-0 at Goodman Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
*Lehigh junior quarterback Nigel Summerville made his first career start and completed 12-of-23 passes for 103 yards. Junior running back Zaythan Hill had 36 yards on eight carries.
*Mountain Hawks’ junior defensive lineman Mikhari Sibblis finished with six tackles and a half-TFL. Fifth-year linebacker Nate Norris added two tackles and one sack.
*Sophomore punter Daniel Simpson averaged 41.3 yards per punt on 10 attempts.
