Lyles looks to make an impact in law like he has on Bucknell’s campus
Bucknell senior wide receiver Dominic Lyles had an internship with the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. over the summer. The D.C. native hopes to turn that opportunity into a career of helping people. On campus at Bucknell, the All-League wide receiver has been instrumental in the creation of Bison Athletes of Color, helping start conversations within the community about issues confronting communities of color.

‘So what, now what?’: Hamlin channels Colgate’s motto to battle cancer
Colgate junior defensive back Arthur Hamlin was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma after the spring semester. The Ottawa, Ontario native has channeled one of Colgate’s core values of toughness and motto of “So what, now what?” in his battle, while drawing strength from the support of his teammates and coaches.

Holy Cross’s Whitley passionate, driven by many interests
Holy Cross senior defensive lineman Benton Whitley has gained a variety of experiences during his time in Worcester, Mass., helping shape his future for after football. The Springfield, Mass. native learned valuable life lessons through his sales internship at Western Mutual in addition to doing important lab work through the biology department at Holy Cross. Whitley’s lab experience has helped open his eyes to a potential continued education and career path.
