BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Eight of the Patriot League’s 10 men’s basketball programs will be in action this weekend, with four games apiece on Saturday and Sunday. Six of the weekend’s games will be streamed live on ESPN+. Two games will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network, including Boston University at Colgate on Saturday (1 p.m.) and Navy at American on Sunday (6 p.m.). International viewers can stream any of the League’s ESPN+ games by visiting www.patriotleague.org/watch.
 
Three of Saturday’s games will be available on ESPN+ with Navy and American tipping off the day’s action at noon. Lehigh hosts Loyola Maryland at 1 p.m. and Holy Cross travels to Army West Point for a 3 p.m. tip. Colgate takes on Boston University in a rematch of the 2020 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship Game on CBS Sports Network at 1 p.m.
 
On Sunday, ESPN+ will stream the Terriers at Raiders (1 p.m.), Black Knights at Crusaders (3 p.m.) and Mountain Hawks at Greyhounds (6 p.m.). The Eagles will welcome the Midshipmen in a nationally televised game on CBS Sports Network with live coverage beginning at 6 p.m.

Patriot League Men’s and Women’s Basketball Continues Commitment in Pursuit of Anti-Racism
The Patriot League will reaffirm its commitment to the pursuit of Anti-Racism during men's and women's basketball games on Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21. During the weekend, League men's and women's basketball student-athletes will wear special shooting shirts adorned with a Black fist surrounded by 10 stars to represent each of the League's member institutions and the phrase "Pursuing Anti-Racism." The shirt's back will feature the words "Unity, Respect, Activism" to signify the values under which the League will continue to pursue the goal of Anti-Racism. The decision to develop the logo and the shooting shirt is based on widespread support from the Patriot League's men's and women's basketball student-athletes as a symbol of their dedication to supporting Black and Brown communities. 
 
Colgate Clinches Top-Seed in North Division; Bucknell Also In
Colgate clinched the top-seed in the North Division sitting at 9-1 in divisional games after a two-game weekend sweep of Army West Point (Feb. 13-14). Bucknell swept its weekend series against South Division rival Lehigh (Jan. 30-31) to clinch at least a top-two seed in the Central Division and a spot in the 2021 Patriot League Tournament. The Bison are 4-0 against the Mountain Hawks this season, and 4-2 in Central Division play.
 
Santi Aldama Ties Patriot League Single-Game Rebounding Record
Sophomore forward Santi Aldama, the two-time defending Patriot League GEICO Player of the Week, pulled down a career-high 22 rebounds to go along with 30 points against Lafayette on Feb. 13. His performance tied the record for most rebounds in a Patriot League game set by Colgate legend Adonal Foyle against Army West Point in 1995. Aldama has posted double-doubles in five of his last seven games and is leading the League in rebounding (10.3) and second in scoring (20.9).  
 
Colgate’s Ferguson, American’s Harris among the NCAA Leaders from Deep
Colgate senior guard Jack Ferguson (.521) and American senior guard Jamir Harris (.486) are first and fourth, respectively among the NCAA DI leaders in 3-point field goal percentage. Ferguson is 25-for-48 from deep this season with at least three made 3-pointers in six of the Raiders’ 10 games. Harris connected on 9-for-15 in a triple-overtime win at Loyola Maryland, including the game-winner, tying the AU program record for made 3-pointers in a single game.
 
Patriot League Men’s Basketball in 2021 Explained
The Patriot League’s 10 men’s basketball programs are divided into three divisions for the 2021 season. The North Division includes Army West Point, Boston University, Colgate and Holy Cross. The Central Division includes Bucknell, Lafayette and Lehigh. The South Division includes American, Loyola Maryland and Navy.
 
The 2021 Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship will feature a reduced eight-team field. Two teams from each division will receive an automatic berth to the League championship based on their divisional record. Two final teams will qualify for the tournament based on their overall League record. Non-League games will not be considered for tournament qualifications purposes.
 
Colgate and Navy Earn Votes in the College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll
Colgate is out to a program-best 9-1 to have clinched the top-seed in the North Division, while their +19.0 scoring margin is third in NCAA DI. Both teams are receiving votes in this week’s CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 published on Feb. 8.  Navy’s 11-2 overall start to the season is the program’s best since 1983-84 season, while their 8-1 start in League play is among their hottest in the program’s 30 years in the Patriot League, putting them atop the League’s South Division. The Mids have not played since defeating Loyola Maryland on Jan. 30.
