BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The 2020-21 Patriot League Spring Men’s Soccer Championship field of four is set as the Patriot League regular-season schedule came to a close on Saturday night.
No. 2 American will travel to Baltimore, Md. to play No. 1 Loyola Maryland to determine the South Division Champion, while No. 1 Lafayette will play host to No. 2 Holy Cross to determine the North Division Champion on Wednesday, April 14.
For men’s soccer, if a team in either semifinal match notifies the League office that it cannot participate by noon ET on the day before the match, the third-place team from the impacted division would serve as a replacement. If a team notifies the League office after that time the game would be considered an unplayed contest with the remaining team advancing to the championship game.
The 2020-21 Patriot League Spring Men’s Soccer Championship Game is on Saturday, April 17. The host site will be determined by the advancing team with the most overall League points during the regular season. Both semifinal-round games and the championship game will be streamed live on ESPN+.
