BETHLEHEM, Pa. — Loyola Maryland earned two of the Patriot League Women’s Soccer weekly awards, while Colgate, Lafayette and Lehigh took home one, as the League announced the weekly honors on Monday.
Colgate senior defender Ruby Diodati was named the Patriot League Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Lehigh junior midfielder Julianna Bonner earned midfielder of the week honors.
Loyola junior defender MK Barnes received defensive player of the week and teammate junior Paige Sim was named the goalkeeper of the week.
Lafayette freshman defender Gretchen Waechter rounded out the awards as rookie of the week.
Army West Point freshman goalkeeper Sage Strohman, Boston University senior forward Jenna Oldham, Bucknell forward Paige Temple, and Lehigh freshman goalkeeper Abby Trainor, and Navy freshman forward Alexa Riddle all earned honorable mentions.
Offensive Player of the Week
Ruby Diodati, Colgate, Sr., D, Mendon, Mass./Worcester Academy
* Diodati recorded seven points (3 goals, 1 assist) last week as Colgate defeated Binghamton (3-2) and fell to Villanova in double overtime (2-1).
* She had a hand in all three Colgate goals against Binghamton, scoring twice and adding an assist. Her PK goal in the 51st minute served as the game-winner in the 3-2 win over the Bearcats.
* She then scored the team’s lone goal in the double-OT decision at Villanova on Sunday.
Midfielder of the Week
Julianna Bonner, Lehigh, Jr., M/F, Ellicott City, Md./Wilde Lake
* Bonner helped guide Lehigh to a 4-0 shutout over Wagner on Thursday with a pair of goals.
* The junior gave the Mountain Hawks a 1-0 lead at the 26:22 mark before making it 2-0 in the 35th minute, for her second and third career goals.
Defensive Player of the Week
MK Barnes, Loyola Maryland, Jr., D, Frederick, Md./Homeschooled
* Barnes was a contributor on the backline during Loyola's third shutout of the season, as she recorded a team save with 4:19 remaining in regulation.
* Barnes picked up her first collegiate point in Thursday's 2-0 win at Howard, recording an assist on Ada Clare Tempert's game-winner in the 11th minute.
Goalkeeper of the Week
Paige Sim, Loyola Maryland, Jr., GK, Phoenix, Ariz./Desert Vista
* Sim recorded her third shutout of the season, making six saves in a 2-0 win at Howard, with four of those stops came in the second half.
* The graduate student’s clean sheet was her 11th in 26 collegiate starts.
* Outside of Loyola's two games against ACC opponents this season, she is 3-2-1 with a 0.49 GAA, a .900 save percentage and three goals allowed in 552 minutes of game action.
Rookie of the Week
Gretchen Waechter, Lafayette, Fr., D, Sea Cliff, N.Y./Friends Academy
* Waechter had a hand in the goals in Lafayette’s wins over NJIT and Saint Peter’s last week.
* Waechter scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win vs. NJIT on Sunday, followed by collecting her first collegiate assist in a 2-1 win vs. Saint Peter's.

Sage Strohman, Army West Point, Fr., GK, La Mirada, Calif./La Mirada HS
* Strohman made a career-high nine saves in the team’s 0-0 double-overtime tie against Vermont.
Jenna Oldham, Boston University, Sr., F, Lithia, Fla./Newsome
* Oldham scored twice to lift Boston University to a 2-1 win over New Hampshire. The senior tallied from inside the box in the 30th minute to make it 1-0 before she drew a penalty and converted from the spot in the 60th minute.
Paige Temple, Bucknell, Fr., F, Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg
* Temple scored the first goal in Bucknell's 3-1 win over Rider on Sunday. She also tallied an assist on Kelley Francis’ goal in the 78th minute.
Abby Trainor, Lehigh, Fr., GK, Greenville, R.I./Smithfield
* Trainor recorded her first-career shutout and first-career win, making four saves (all in the first half) in Thursday's 4-0 win vs. Wagner.
* For the season, Trainor owns a 1.00 goals-against average and 75.0 save percentage.
Alexa Riddle, Navy, Fr., F, Tomball, Texas/Tomball Memorial
* The freshman had a hand in both of the team's goals against Mount St. Mary’s as she scored the game-tying marker in the first half before assisting on Amanda Graziano's game-winning goal in the 79th minute.
