HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior quarterback Grant Breneman passed for 169 yards and one touchdown and rushed for 119 yards and another score to lead Colgate to a 30-3 victory over Lehigh in the Patriot League opener at Andy Kerr Stadium.
*Senior defensive back Collin Heard’s interception on the second play of the game set up Breneman to score on a nine-yard rush at the 13:20 mark of the first quarter.
*Senior wide receiver Garrett Oakey found the end zone on a nine-yard run on the Raiders’ next drive at the 8:38 mark to take a quick 14-0 lead over the Mountain Hawks.
*Lehigh junior placekicker Dylan Van Dusen put the Mountain Hawks on the board with a 32-yard field goal early in the second quarter. Colgate sophomore placekicker Jacob Jaworski answered with a 27-yard field goal to extend the lead back to two touchdowns.
*Breneman closed the first-half scoring with a 20-yard touchdown pass to junior wide receiver Myles Bradley with 4:06 remaining in the second quarter to take a 24-3 lead into halftime.
*Jaworski finished the game perfect on field-goal attempts, going 3-for-3, including kicks from 34 and 40 yards in the second half to help Colgate pick up its first victory for Stan Dakosty as the Raiders’ head coach.
*Lehigh senior running back Rashawn Allen finished with 47 yards on 11 carries, while junior linebacker Jack Bush had a team-high nine tackles to go with a pass breakup and a forced fumble.
*Senior linebacker Trevor Thompson finished with nine tackles, and 1.0 TFL in helping Colgate hold Lehigh’s offense to 101 total yards.

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Sophomore quarterback Marco Siderman threw for 181 yards and two touchdowns to lead Holy Cross to a 45-15 victory over No. 19/20 Monmouth on Saturday afternoon.
*Siderman completed 13-of-15 passes for 181 while splitting time with sophomore quarterback Matthew Sluka, who completed 10-of-15 attempts for 86 yards and one touchdown.
*Senior wide receiver Tenio Ayeni caught five passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns, while sophomore receiver Jalen Coker added six catches for 63 yards and a score.
*Junior linebacker Jacob Dobbs led the Crusaders’ defense with 12 tackles, 3.0 TFLs and 3.0 sacks. The reigning national defensive player of the week has recorded 7.0 TFLs and 5.0 sacks in Holy Cross’s last two games.
*Junior defensive back Devin Haskins recorded his first collegiate interception for the Crusaders.
*Holy Cross rushed out to a 28-0 lead in the first half, as freshman running back Jordan Fuller started the scoring with a two-yard touchdown run at the 9:16 mark in the first quarter. Ayeni caught a touchdown pass from both Sluka and Siderman before Coker caught a touchdown pass at the 5:50 mark in the second quarter.
*After a third-quarter Monmouth touchdown, the Crusaders tacked on 17 more points on a 49-yard field goal from senior placekicker Derek Ng and touchdown runs from senior running back Peter Oliver and junior running back Jordan Forrest.
*Holy Cross’s win over No. 19/20 Monmouth was the first win by a Patriot League team over a ranked opponent since Colgate defeated No. 6 James Madison in the second round of the 2018 NCAA FCS Playoffs.

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Senior wide receiver Cameron Crayton posted career highs with eight catches for 190 yards, including a two-yard touchdown reception, but Georgetown could not overcome an early deficit in a 35-24 loss to Columbia for the Lou Little Trophy.
*Junior quarterback Pierce Holley made his first collegiate start, completing 27-of-42 passes for 368 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed for a touchdown. Sophomore wide receiver Asante Das caught seven passes for 71 yards.
*Senior linebacker Justin Fonteneaux finished with a game-high 17 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss (TFL).
*Trailing 14-0, Hoyas’ junior running back Joshua Stakely capped a 10-play, 76-yard drive with a two-yard touchdown run to cut the Lions’ lead in half.
*Columbia returned the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown, but Holley rushed for a touchdown and sophomore placekicker Conor Hunt connected on a 42-yard field goal to bring Georgetown within four points, 21-17, at halftime.
*Crayton caught a touchdown pass from Holly in the third quarter, but Columbia scored twice to preserve a 35-24 win.

EASTON, Pa. – Senior wide receiver Joe Gillette scored a pair of touchdowns, and senior linebacker Billy Shaeffer intercepted two passes, including a 41-yard return for a touchdown, to lead Lafayette to a 24-14 victory over Penn at Fisher Stadium.
*Gillette opened the scoring with a 29-yard touchdown run at the 10:25 mark in the second quarter and put the Leopards in front for good with a 70-yard touchdown reception with 6:34 left in the third quarter. He finished with five catches for 91 yards and four carries for 49 yards.
*Shaeffer’s 41-yard interception return for a touchdown came with 14 seconds remaining in the third quarter to extend the Leopards lead to 24-14. He intercepted another pass in the fourth quarter to seal Lafayette’s win while adding a team-high eight tackles to go along with a half-sack.
*Freshman quarterback Ah-Shaun Davis completed 12-of-18 passes for 157 yards and a touchdown in his second collegiate start.
*Leopards’ junior linebacker Marco Olivas finished with seven tackles, 2.5 TFLs and a half-sack.
*Lafayette’s defense held Penn to 11 rushing yards on 27 carries and forced three turnovers. Freshman defensive back Saiku White recorded his first collegiate interception at the 5:14 mark in the fourth quarter.

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Senior quarterback Tim DeMorat threw for 280 yards and four touchdowns, and senior linebacker Ryan Greenhagen had a game-high 16 tackles and 2.0 TFLs to lead Fordham to a 31-14 victory over Stony Brook.
*DeMorat completed 21-of-33 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns. Senior wide receiver Fotis Kokosioulis had five catches for 81 yards and a touchdown, and junior wide receiver Dequece Carter scored twice on three catches for 58 yards to lead the offense.
*Rams’ freshman linebacker James Conway finished with 11 tackles, while sophomore linebacker Mike Courtney added 10 tackles.
*DeMorat connected with Carter on an 11-yard touchdown pass on the game’s first drive to give the Rams an early 7-0 lead.
*After a Seawolves touchdown, DeMorat completed touchdown passes to Kokosioulis, fifth-year receiver Hamze El-Zayat and Carter to build a 26-7 lead by the end of the third quarter.
*Senior placekicker Nick Leinenweber booted a 25-yard field goal at the 7:41 mark in the fourth quarter to finish the scoring in the 31-14 win.
