BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh claimed three of the four Patriot League Field Hockey weekly awards when the League office announced honors on Monday. Bucknell received the remaining accolade.
Lehigh junior midfielder Sarah Bonthuis claimed Patriot League Offensive Player of the Week after recording a career-high five points in the Mountain Hawks’ victory over Colgate on Saturday.
Mountain Hawks’ graduate student midfielder/defender Lenke Havas was named Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week after helping her team to two wins, including a shutout over Sacred Heart. She combined for seven points on three goals and one assist over the two games.
Lehigh junior goalkeeper Maddie Kahn picked up Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week honors after going 2-0 last week with wins over Colgate (7-2) and Sacred Heart (4-0).
Bucknell freshman defender Lily Neilson received her second-consecutive Patriot League Rookie of the Week honor after scoring two goals last week, adding to her League-leading nine goals on the season.
American sophomore goalkeeper Bryn Underwood, Boston University junior goalkeeper Caroline Kelly, Bucknell junior forward Maddie Rehak, Colgate sophomore forward Ella Corbett, Lafayette junior defender Simone Hefting and senior midfielder Audrey Sawers all collected honorable mentions for their performances last week.

*Bonthuis scored two goals and assisted one in Lehigh’s 7-2 victory over Holy Cross on Saturday to move to 2-0 in League play.
*She scored the Mountain Hawk’s first and third goals and finished with a career-high five points against the Crusaders.
*The junior midfielder has a team-leading 18 points on seven goals and four assists through nine games.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FIELD HOCKEY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Lenke Havas, Lehigh, Gr., Midfielder/Defender, Maastricht, Netherlands/Sint-Maartenscollege
*Havas helped anchor a Lehigh defense that allowed just two goals in a 2-0 week with wins over Colgate (7-2) and Sacred Heart (4-0).
*She also scored a goal in the Mountain Hawks’ win over the Raiders to improve to 2-0 in League play.
*Against Sacred Heart, the Mountain Hawks allowed two shots, one on goal, in their 4-0 shutout. She also added a goal and an assist against the Pioneers.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FIELD HOCKEY GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Maddie Kahn, Lehigh, Jr., Goalkeeper, Ocean City, N.J./Ocean City
*Kahn registered a pair of wins last week against Colgate (7-2) and Sacred Heart (4-0), combining for seven saves and two goals allowed during the week.
*She made six saves and allowed two goals in the Mountain Hawks’ victory over the Crusaders to improve to 2-0 in League play.
*Kahn recorded one save to post a shutout against the Pioneers on Sunday.
PATRIOT LEAGUE FIELD HOCKEY ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lily Neilson, Bucknell, Fr., Defender, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia/The Armidale School
*Neilson recorded one goal in each of Bucknell’s games this weekend to add to her League-leading season total of nine.
*The defending offensive player and rookie of the week scored the game-winning goal in overtime of Bucknell’s 2-1 win over Boston University.
*She tallied the lone goal for the Bison in their loss to Harvard on Sunday.

*Underwood made 13 saves and allowed four goals to help American go 1-1 last week with a win over LIU and a loss to No. 9 Maryland. She leads the League with a .768 save percentage.
Caroline Kelly, Boston University, Jr., Goalkeeper, Malvern, Pa./Episcopal Academy
*Kelly combined to make 19 saves while allowing four goals in a pair of one-goal losses to Bucknell and Northeastern. She recorded 11 saves against the Huskies.
Maddie Rehak, Bucknell, Jr., Forward, Forest Hill, Md./Episcopal Academy
*Rehak totaled three points on one goal and one assist in Bucknell’s 2-1 victory over Boston on Saturday. She also recorded an assist in the Bison loss to Harvard on Sunday.

*Corbett posted career-highs of two goals and four points in Colgate’s loss to Lehigh on Saturday.
