BOSTON – Junior guard Cam Spencer led three Greyhounds in double figures with 19 points to lift Loyola Maryland to a 66-58 victory over Boston University, their first win on the Terriers’ home floor in nine tries.
*Senior guard Jaylin Andrews finished with 12 points, four steals, three assists and two steals while senior guard Kenneth Jones added 10 points and a team-high five assists for a Loyola Maryland squad that never trailed.
*The Greyhounds shot 52.9 percent from the floor while holding the Terriers’ offense to a 33.9 field goal percentage. Loyola also outscored BU, 40-26.
*Boston University graduate student forward Sukhmail Mathon led the Terriers with 18 points, six rebounds, two blocks and two steals. Graduate student guard Javante McCoy added 15 points and six boards.
*Senior forward Walter Whyte became the 40th Boston University men’s basketball player to eclipse 1,000 career points. He finished with nine points and six rebounds.

WEST POINT, N.Y. – Sophomore guard Jalen Rucker scored a game-high 22 points to go along with five rebounds and four assists to help Army West Point remain unbeaten in League play with a 77-55 victory over Lehigh.
*Rucker shot 8-of-15 from the floor and 2-of-4 from beyond the arc to top 20 points in each of the Black Knights’ first three League games.
*Army West Point senior guard Aaron Duhart finished with 11 points, and sophomore forward Charlie Peterson added 10 points and seven rebounds.
*The Black Knights shot 54 percent from the floor and 45.5 percent from 3-point range and never trailed against the Mountain Hawks.
*Junior guard Evan Taylor and freshman guard Keith Higgins Jr scored 13 points apiece to lead Lehigh, while sophomore center Dominic Parolin came off the bench to add 10 points, all in the second half. 
*The Mountain Hawks defense forced 16 turnovers, turning them into 22 points.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior forward Gerrale Gates posted his fifth double-double of the season with 27 points and 14 rebounds to lead Holy Cross over Lafayette, 79-74, at Hart Center.
*The Leopards led by as many as 11 points in the second half, but the Holy Cross used an 11-0 run during a four-minute stretch midway through the frame to take the lead for good. The Crusaders scored 52 of their 79 points in the paint.
*Gates matched his career-high of 27 points on 11-of-18 shooting from the floor, while five of his career-high 14 boards came on the offensive glass.
*Sophomore guard Bo Montgomery scored a career-high 21 on 8-of-11 shooting from the floor, including 2-of-2 from beyond the arc. Sophomore forward Judson Martindale added 10 points for the Crusaders.
*Lafayette senior guard Tyrone Perry finished with team-highs of 18 points and five assists in the Leopards’ first League game of the season.
*Junior forward Neal Quinn added 16 points, eight rebounds and three assists, while junior forward Leo O’Boyle and freshman guard C.J. Fulton scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior forward Daniel Deaver came off the bench to score a season-high 20 points to help Navy remain undefeated in League play with a 73-55 win over Bucknell at Sojka Pavilion on Friday night.
*Deaver shot 8-for-8 from the floor and 1-for-1 from beyond the arc. The Mids bench contributed 41 of the team’s 73 points, with junior guard Patrick Dorsey and junior forward Jaylen Walker contributing nine and eight points, respectively.
*Navy senior guard John Carter Jr. added 18 points, shooting 11-for-14 from the charity stripe.
*The Mids defense held the Bison to 39.6 percent shooting from the floor and 29.4 percent from 3-point range.
*Bucknell junior guard Xander Rice scored a team-high 14 points, while freshman guard Elvin Edmonds IV added 12 points.
*Sophomore center Andre Screen finished with 11 points, seven rebounds and two blocks for the Bison.
*The Bison led by as many as eight points in the first half, but Navy tied the game at 32 going into the break. Navy jumped out to a quick start in the second half, opening a 10-point lead by the 12-minute mark to take control of the game.

HAMILTON, N.Y. - The Patriot League men’s basketball game between American and Colgate, originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 7, has been postponed due to COVID protocols within the American men’s basketball program. The contest between the Eagles and Raiders will be rescheduled for Monday, Feb. 21 with the game time to be determined at a later date.
