Fordham’s DeMorat tied UIW’s Lindsey Scott Jr. atop Stan Becton’s weekly FCS quarterback rankings on NCAA.com. DeMorat leads the FCS in passing yards per game (442.0) and passing touchdowns (30). DeMorat is five touchdown passes shy of tying the Patriot League’s single-season record of 35, set by Fordham’s Michael Nebrich in 2013. Holy Cross Jr. QB Matthew Sluka moved up to fourth after accounting for four touchdowns in the Crusaders’ 57-0 victory over Bucknell to improve to 6-0 for the first time since 1991.

HOLY CROSS MOVES UP IN CBS SPORTS FCS POWER RANKINGS
Emory Hunt of CBS Sports released his FCS power rankings leading up to week seven, with Holy Cross moving up to No. 5 after their most lopsided shutout victory since 1942. Fordham is also in Hunt’s power rankings at No. 14. Hunt recognizes the Rams’ offensive line, which he notes “may be the best in the entire FCS.”
