WORCESTER, Mass. – Holy Cross claimed at least a share of their fourth-consecutive Patriot League title and the League’s automatic berth into the NCAA DI FCS Championship with a 42-14 win over Lehigh at Fitton Field on Saturday.
*The Crusaders’ ground game led the way, rushing for 338 yards on 51 carries. Junior quarterback Matthew Sluka rushed for a game-high 146 yards and a touchdown, while senior running back Peter Oliver added 136 rushing yards and a score.
*Sophomore running back Jordan Fuller posted three rushing touchdowns for the Crusaders. Sluka also threw a touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Spencer Gilliam late in the second quarter.
*Holy Cross senior linebacker Liam Anderson recorded a team-high nine tackles and 2.0 TFLs, and senior safety Terrell Prince had five tackles and 1.5 TFLs.
*Lehigh junior quarterback Dante Perri completed 18-of-27 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns.
*Freshman receiver Geoffrey Jamiel had five catches for 88 yards and a score, while senior receiver Jalen Burbage had four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown.
*Sixth-year linebacker Nate Norris led Lehigh with 12 tackles and 1.0 TFL, senior defensive back TyGee Leach had 11 tackles and junior linebacker Mike DeNucci finished with seven tackles, 2.0 TFL and one pass defended for the Mountain Hawks’ defense.
*The Crusaders tied Lehigh’s Patriot League record with four-consecutive League titles. Lehigh claimed at least a share of the League crown from 1998 through 2001.

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Fordham responded after a pair of first-quarter turnovers and a 3-0 deficit by scoring 24 second-quarter points on their way to a 59-17 victory over Bucknell at Christy-Mathewson Memorial Stadium on Saturday.
*Senior quarterback Tim DeMorat made up for two early interceptions by completing 31-of-49 passes for 346 yards and five touchdowns to help the Rams improve to 3-1 in League play.
*Rams’ senior wide receiver Fotis Kokosioulis caught 12 passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns, while senior MJ Wright, junior Mekai Felton and sophomore Jaden Allen each caught touchdown passes from DeMorat.
*Graduate student linebacker Ryan Greenhagen posted 12 tackles and one sack, and sophomore linebacker James Conway added 11 tackles for the Rams.
*Fordham freshman defensive back Alex Kemper intercepted two passes, including one he returned for a 23-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter.
*Bucknell junior quarterback Nick Semptimphelter completed 12-of-25 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown, while sophomore running back Rushawn Baker carried 15 times for 70 yards and a score.
*Bison junior linebacker Blake Leake made a game-high 13 tackles and one sack, while senior linebacker Ben Allen and senior safety Brent Jackson had 10 tackles apiece. Jackson also recorded an interception and three pass breakups.

HAMILTON, N.Y. – Lafayette’s three first-half touchdowns were enough to lead the Leopards to a 21-16 victory over Colgate at Andy Kerr Stadium on Saturday.
*Senior running back Jaden Sutton and freshman receiver Elijah Steward rushed for touchdowns in the first and second quarters, respectively, and sophomore quarterback Ah-Shaun Davis completed a touchdown pass to junior receiver Carl Davis before the half to account for Lafayette’s offense.
*Lafayette senior linebacker Jyaire Stevens finished with eight tackles and a half sack, while senior linebacker Marco Olivas had seven tackles, a half sack and a forced fumble.
*Sophomore defensive back Saiku White contributed six tackles, while forcing a fumble and recovering one for the Leopards’ defense.
*Colgate sophomore quarterback Michael Brescia completed 13-of-23 passing attempts for 125 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Raiders offense. He also rushed for 45 yards.
*Senior wide receiver Garrett Oakey had three catches for 56 yards and a score. Junior tight end Matt Paske also caught a touchdown pass for Colgate.
*Raiders’ senior defensive back Mikey Jarmolowich had a game-high 10 tackles, one pass breakup and a blocked kick and senior defensive lineman Coco Coleman had nine tackles and a half TFL.

WASHINGTON – Graduate student wide receiver Joshua Tomas caught seven passes for a career-high 180 yards and two touchdowns, but it was not enough in Georgetown’s 38-24 loss against NEC-leading Saint Francis at Cooper Field on Saturday.
*Tomas caught a 51-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Pierce Holley in the first quarter and a 75-yard pass in the second quarter. Holley finished with 259 yards and two touchdowns on 20-of-36 passing.
*Hoyas’ freshman defensive back Wedner Cadet returned an interception 31 yards for a score. Cadet leads the Patriot League and is among the FCS leaders with five interceptions during his rookie campaign. He also finished tied for the team lead with eight tackles.
*Graduate student linebacker Justin Fonteneaux also recorded eight tackles, a half sack and two pass breakups in the loss.
*Junior placekicker Richard Abood II connected on a field goal in the fourth quarter and was 3-for-3 on PATs for the Hoyas.
