No. 2 Bucknell Crowned 2022 Patriot League Women’s Soccer Champions (11.6.22)

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The No. 2 Bucknell Bison were crowned the 2022 Patriot League Women’s Soccer Champions on Sunday afternoon in West Point, N.Y.

The win marks the Bison’s sixth Patriot League Women’s Soccer Championship title.

Bucknell senior forward Rylee Donaldson was awarded Tournament MVP honors after scoring the winning penalty kick. Junior goalkeeper Jenna Hall, sophomore midfielder Teresa Deda, and freshman defender Meghan White joined Donaldson on the all-tournament team.
 
Army senior midfielder Lauren Drysdale, freshman midfielder Brigid Duffy,senior defender Emma Richey were all named to the all-tournament squad.
 
Boston University junior forward Abby McNulty and senior defender Jenna Oldham and Lehigh sophomore forward Corinne Lyght and senior defender Ryelle Shuey were all placed on the all-tournament team as well.

The Bison earned the Patriot League automatic qualifying bid to the 2022 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship. They will learn their first-round opponent when the NCAA Selection Show takes place on Monday, Nov. 7 at 3:30 p.m. ET.
