BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Loyola Maryland claimed four of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards after going 2-0 last week to break the NCAA record for consecutive regular-season conference wins. Colgate received one accolade after a dramatic 13-12 win against Lafayette.
Greyhounds’ graduate student Livy Rosenzweig earned Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Attacker of the Week honors for the eighth time in her career after registering 12 points on 10 goals and two assists in wins against American and Army West Point. Senior defender Katie Detwiler collected defender of the week honors for the fourth time this season and the 10th of her career after picking up five ground balls and causing four turnovers in two wins.
Loyola Maryland graduate student Kaitlyn Larsson was named Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Week for the second time this season after posting a 7.14 goals-against average in wins against the Eagles and Black Knights. Freshman attack Georgia Latch garnered rookie of the week accolades for the second time this season after finishing with eight points in the Greyhounds’ wins.
Colgate junior Cara O’Reilly was named Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Week for the first time in her career after finishing with three goals, one assist and nine draw controls in the win against the Leopards.
American graduate student midfielder Kendall Goldblum and sophomore defender Jordan Mitchell, Boston University junior attack Lauren Kaye, Bucknell sophomore attack Taylor Kopan and junior defender Ella Payer, Colgate senior goalkeeper Olivia Lynch and junior attack Lauren Marandett, Lafayette junior attack Sarah Bennett, Loyola Maryland senior midfielder Jillian Wilson and Navy senior attack Reagan Roelofs all received honorable mentions for their performances last week.

ROSENZWEIG CONTINUES HER ATTACK ON THE RECORD BOOKS
Loyola Maryland graduate student attacker Livy Rosenzweig became the fifth player in NCAA history to reach 200 career assists. Rosenzweig recorded a pair of assists in the Greyhounds’ two wins last week to give her 201 for her career, the fourth-best mark in NCAA history. The Katonah, N.Y. native entered the season as the Patriot League’s career leader in assists and passed Navy alum Kelly Larkin for the career points lead in a win against Colgate on April 9. She is seven points shy of becoming the fifth player in NCAA history to accumulate 400 career points, joining Greyhounds’ head coach Jen Adams.
GREYHOUNDS BREAK NCAA RECORD FOR CONFERENCE WIN STREAK
Loyola Maryland broke UMass’ previously held NCAA record for consecutive conference games won in an 18-8 victory against American last Wednesday. The Greyhounds continued to build on the streak, winning their 63rd-consecutive Patriot League game with a 16-7 victory over Army West Point on Saturday. Head Coach Jen Adams has guided her program to a 63-0 regular-season Patriot League record since joining the League for the 2014 season. UMass had won 61-straight Atlantic 10 games from 2011-18.
PATRIOT LEAGUE PLAYERS AMONG NCAA LEADERS
*Lehigh junior attack Gabby Schneider is seventh in NCAA DI with 2.45 assists per game.
*Boston University junior midfielder Jennifer Barry is fourth in the nation with 9.77 draw controls per game.
*Holy Cross senior attack Jolie Creo is 10th in NCAA DI in goals per game (3.91) and seventh in points per game (5.55).
*Navy sophomore goalkeeper Jo Torres is third in NCAA DI with a 7.81 goals-against average (GAA), while Loyola Maryland graduate student goalkeeper Kaitlyn Larsson is eighth with an 8.89 GAA.
*Torres is also second in NCAA DI in save percentage (.538), while Lehigh sophomore goalkeeper Hayley Hunt is third in the nation in save percentage (.531) and 11th with 135 saves.
PATRIOT LEAGUE TEAMS IN THE POLLS
Defending champion and preseason favorite Loyola Maryland placed seventh in this week’s
ILWomen/IWLCA Division I Top-25 Poll, released on Monday morning. The Greyhounds defeated American and Army West Point to improve to 6-0 in League play and 13-1 overall. Navy remained 24th in this week’s poll after recording a 13-9 victory over Holy Cross.

*She scored all three of her goals between the second and third quarters to help the Raiders build a five-goal lead. She also assisted Colgate’s final goal to help seal the win.
*O’Reilly’s 91 draw controls is a Colgate single-season record.

*Larsson picked up wins against American (18-8) and Army West Point (16-7) while posting a 7.14 goals-against average and nine saves in the two games while helping the Greyhounds break the NCAA record for consecutive regular-season conference wins.
*Against American, she made four saves in nearly 38 minutes, helping the team hold the team to eight goals, tied for a season-low.
*She made five saves against Army West Point and helped snap the Black Knights’ 12-game streak of double-digit-goal games.

*Latch posted eight points with four goals and four assists to help Loyola Maryland earn victories against American (18-8) and Army West Point (16-7) to remain undefeated in League play.
*She posted five points on three goals and two assists in the Greyhounds’ victory against American. The game marked her fourth hat trick of the season.
*Latch finished with one goal and two assists against the Black Knights to extend her points streak to 14 games.
