BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Ex-Pats, the first team to highlight Patriot League men’s basketball talent in the long-running summer event, have been selected as the No. 3 seed in the Rucker Park Region for the 2022 The Basketball Tournament (TBT).

The Ex-Pats will take on sixth-seeded Big 5, a team comprised of talent from Philadelphia’s Big Five, including Villanova, Temple, St. Joseph’s Penn and La Salle. The Ex-Pats and Big 5 will square off in the Round of 64 at historic Rucker Park in Harlem on July 16 at 2 p.m.

This marks the second-consecutive appearance for the Ex-Pats in the 64-team, single-elimination tournament after falling to the AfterShocks, a team of Wichita State alums, in the first round last year. The Big 5 will be making their first appearance in the TBT.
