HAMILTON, N.Y. – Senior forward Ryan Moffatt led four Raiders in double-figures with 19 points to help Colgate defeat Loyola Maryland, 76-63, at Cotterell Court to improve to 11-0 in League play.
*Moffatt connected on 6-of-11 from the floor and 5-of-9 from 3-point range in addition to grabbing five boards for a Raiders’ squad that earned their 26th consecutive victory over a League opponent.
*Colgate freshman guard Braeden Smith finished with 16 points, seven assists, six rebounds and three steals, while senior guard Tucker Richardson contributed 12 points, eight assists and three steals.
*Senior guard Oliver Lynch-Daniels finished with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor and 3-of-4 from long range for the Raiders.
*The Raiders shot 57.4 percent from the field (27-for-47) and 50 percent (10-for-20) from beyond the arc while dishing out 21 assists.
*Loyola Maryland senior forward Golden Dike and freshman guard Deon Perry scored 16 points apiece to lead the Greyhounds. Perry added four rebounds, four assists and four steals.
*Graduate student guards Jaylin Andrews and Kenneth Jones each scored 10 points and dished out four assists. Jones recorded three steals for Loyola Maryland.
