WEST POINT, N.Y. – Colgate senior forward Keegan Records converted the go-ahead layup on a pass from freshman guard Braeden Smith with five seconds remaining in regulation to help the Raiders to a 77-75 comeback victory over Army West Point.
*The Black Knights led by as many as six points late in the second half in a game that saw the lead change hand 15 times, but Colgate used a 12-4 game-ending run to improve to 4-0 in League play.
*Records led five Raiders in double-figures with 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting. The senior forward grabbed five boards and recorded three blocks. Smith added 13 points, four rebounds and four assists.
*Senior guards Oliver Lynch-Daniels and Tucker Richardson finished with 14 and 11 points, respectively. Richardson added a team-high five assists, and senior forward Ryan Moffatt chipped in 12 points, eight rebounds and two steals.
*Army West Point junior guard Jalen Rucker scored a game-high 22 points. The Patriot League Player of the Week also added five assists and four rebounds for a Black Knights’ squad that had its four-game winning streak snapped.
*Junior forward Charlie Peterson added 16 points and freshman guard Coleton Benson contributed 12 points for Army.
