BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Junior guard Jared Cross’s layup with five seconds remaining in regulation lifted Army West Point to a 71-69 victory over Lehigh to snap the Mountain Hawks’ eight-game winning streak.
*Black Knights’ junior guard Jalen Rucker scored a game-high 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting and grabbed a team-high eight boards to help Army West Point sweep the season series with Lehigh.
*Junior forward Charlie Peterson and freshman guard Coleton Benson scored 13 points apiece for the Black Knights.
*Sophomore guard Keith Higgins Jr. led four Mountain Hawks in double-figures with 17 points. He also grabbed a game-high five steals.
*Junior forward Dominic Parolin came off the bench to score 12 points, while sophomore guards Tyler Whitney-Sidney and Ben Knostman added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
