Bucknell’s hot shooting leads to a season sweep over the American in CBS Sports Network matchup

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior guard Jack Forrest scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Bucknell to a 73-51 victory over American to sweep the season series.
*Forrest connected on 10-of-16 from the floor and 5-of-7 from 3-point range for a Bison squad that hit 10-of-16 from beyond the arc. Bucknell also shot 53.7 percent (29-of-54) from the field.
*Junior center Andre Screen added 15 points, three rebounds and two blocks. The Bison, second in the Patriot League in blocked shots per game (3.89) behind only American, finished with seven blocks.
*Senior guard Xander Rice added 14 points and four assists for the Bison.
*American junior forward Matt Rogers finished with 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting from the field. He also added five rebounds.
*Junior forward Johnny O’Neil added 13 points, a team-high eight rebounds and two blocks for the Eagles.
