BOSTON – Graduate student forward Walter Whyte led four Terriers in double-figures with 16 points as Boston University defeated Bucknell, 77-61, to sweep the season series.
*Terriers’ graduate student Fletcher Tynen finished with 14 points and six rebounds, while graduate student guard Jonas Harper and senior guard Ethan Brittan-Watts chipped in 12 and 11 points, respectively.
*Boston University outscored the Bison, 46-26, after trailing by as many as 10 points in the first half. BU connected on 57 percent (12-of-21) from the floor and 60 percent (6-of-10) in the second half.
*Bucknell senior forward Alex Timmerman recorded his fifth double-double of the season with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
*Freshman forward Ruot Bijiek and junior center Andre Screen totaled 12 and 11 points, respectively.
