BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Holy Cross Varsity Four boat was named the Patriot League Boat of the Week when the League announced the accolade on Wednesday.
MIT’s Varsity Eight boat earned an honorable mention nod.

Regatta: New England Rowing Championship (Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, Mass.)
Other Teams: Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Mass. Maritime, MIT, Merrimack, Amherst, Trinity
* The Varsity Four finished with a time of 7:44.490 to place first in their heat against Rhode Island, New Hampshire, and Mass. Maritime.
* In the afternoon grand final, the V4 finished with a 7:32.470, over 3.5 seconds ahead of second-place Merrimack, to take the Championship.
* The boat members Larissa McHugh (coxswain), Lauren MacDonald, Ella Lynch-Bartek, Marianna May, and Charlotte Barton.

MIT Varsity Eight
Regatta: New England Rowing Championship (Lake Quinsigamond, Worcester, Mass.)
Other Teams: Wellesley, Bates, WPI, Tufts, Smith, Simmons, Assumption, Trinity, Clark, Middlebury, Mt. Holyoke, Connecticut College, Colby, Williams, Holy Cross, Wesleyan, Coast Guard, Bowdoin and Vermont
* Coming in as the top seed, the Engineers won heat No. 1 by a 10-second margin over WPI in a time of 6:29.680.
* MIT then followed that with a victory in the Grand Final as the team crossed in 6:38.040 to defeat Wellesley College by a 3.46-second margin.
* The boat members were Emelie Eldracher (coxswain), Portia Gaitskell, Tatum Wilhelm, Anna Meurer, Arina Khotimsky, Abby Dulski, Ella Gersack, Julia Contini, and Stephanie Hulme.
