To quote (Hall of Fame Loyola Head Coach) Diane Geppi-Aikens, we truly are 'lucky every day.'"
The IWLCA Coaching Staffs of the Year are newly awarded in 2023, replacing the previous individual Coaches of the Year.

Lauren Spence. Wilson also was named as the IWLCA Midfielder of the Year, the first player to win an IWLCA Positional Player of the Year honor.
During the 2023 season, Adams became the program's all-time winningest coach, surpassing the 197 wins by Geppi-Aikens amassed during her career. Adams also became the first Loyola women's lacrosse coach to win 200 or more games and has a 209-74 all-time record.

In the years since Adams has been at Loyola, Loyola has a 209-74 overall record, a 102-12 record in conference play, nine conference championships and five-straight NCAA Tournament
