HAMILTON, N.Y. – Top-seeded Colgate (18-10, 14-2 PL) and No. 4 Army West Point (16-11, 10-6 PL) advanced to the 2024 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Championship Match following victories over No. 6 Lehigh and No. 2 Bucknell, respectively.
The Raiders and Black Knights will battle for the League title and an automatic berth into the 2024 NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball Championship on Sunday, Nov. 24, at Cotterell Court on the campus of Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y.

In today’s first semifinal match, Bucknell rallied to force a fifth set but fell behind early as the red-hot Black Knights went on to win their sixth straight game behind a triple-double from sophomore setter Juliette Myrick.
In the nightcap, Colgate found themselves trailing Lehigh 1-0 before winning three straight sets to advance to Sunday’s title match.

*The Black Knights return to the League title match on Sunday for the first time since the 2020-21 season and the 13th time in program history.
*Army West Point senior opposite hitter Kingsley Wallace delivered a match-high 19 kills on a .333 hitting percentage to go with five block assists and two digs.
*Junior outside hitter Chloe Murakami had a double-double with 12 kills and 15 digs, while sophomore setter Juliette Myrick produced her seventh triple-double of the season with 11 kills, 36 assists and 16 digs.
*Junior outside hitter Mackenzie Lynch finished with nine kills, 17 digs, seven total blocks and three aces.
*Freshman middle blocker Michelle Parker and fellow classmate Tatum Grimes combined for 11 kills and 15 total blocks.
*Freshman defensive specialist Nicole Stroud and freshman setter Naomi Chinchar totaled double-digit digs with 14 and 11, respectively.
*Bucknell sophomore outside hitter Cameron Lloyd paced the Bison with 11 kills, 11 digs and two block assists, while junior outside hitter Bri Frazilus added 11 kills and three digs.
*Junior opposite hitter Tijana Kostic totaled eight kills and eight digs, while sophomore middle blocker Sidney Shaffer notched seven kills, seven digs and seven total blocks.
*The 2024 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Libero of the Year, Jordan Hardy, registered 23 digs, junior setter Laura Caro produced 22 assists and 17 digs, while the 2024 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Setter of the Year, Caleigh O’Connell, dished out 17 assists.
*Army West Point finished the match with advantages in aces (6-5), blocks (16-8) and hitting percentage (.218-.104).

*Colgate senior outside hitter Abby Shadwick produced a match-high 22 kills on a .347 hitting percentage, nine digs, two total blocks and one ace.
*Sophomore outside hitter Frances Torres had nine kills and two digs, while fifth-year opposite hitter Gillian Hauschild recorded seven kills, two digs and two block assists.
*The 2024 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball Player of the Year, Milan Bayless, added seven kills, seven digs, three block assists and three aces.
*Senior setter Sydney Jones tallied a double-double with 24 assists and 15 digs, fifth-year libero Taylor Cigna posted 27 digs and sophomore setter Deren Cukur distributed 17 assists.
*Lehigh senior outside hitter Megan Schulte led the Mountain Hawks with 10 kills and three digs, while sophomore right-side hitter Ufuoma Omene (four digs) and sophomore outside hitter Alysia Fingall (six digs, four block assists) each had eight kills.
*Senior setter Makena Smith registered 16 assists and 14 digs for a double-double, sophomore setter Abby Felaki had 16 assists and nine digs, while senior defensive specialist Kyleigh Brown added 15 digs and eight assists.
*The Raiders had the edge in hitting percentage (.260-.133), blocks (11-8) and aces (7-5).
