BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League men’s basketball regular-season schedule concluded on Saturday evening, determining the bracket for the 2024 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship. First-round action begins on Tuesday, March 5.
 
Colgate claimed the No. 1 seed in the championship for the fifth time in the last six seasons. After becoming the first men’s basketball team since the Patriot League expanded to 10 teams in 2013-14 to go 9-0 on the road in League play, the Raiders will play at their home Cotterell Court through the tournament. Colgate will host the winner of Tuesday’s first-round matchup featuring No. 9 Holy Cross at No. 8 Army West Point in Thursday’s quarterfinal round.
 
Boston University clinched the No. 2 seed after winning its last five games. The second-seeded Terriers will host the winner of Tuesday’s No. 10 Loyola Maryland at No. 7 Navy in the quarterfinal round on Thursday.
 
No. 3 Lafayette hosts arch-rival No. 6 Lehigh, while No. 4 American welcomes No. 5 Bucknell in the quarterfinal round of the 2024 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship on Thursday, March 7. BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Fifth-year forward Keegan Records posted his third double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds to help Colgate hold off Lehigh, 63-60, to complete the season sweep and conclude the regular season with a 9-0 on the road in League play.  
*The Raiders became the first League team to go undefeated on the road in League play since the Patriot League expanded to 10 teams in 2013-14.
*Records shot 5-of-6 from the floor and hit a pair of free throws with 15 seconds remaining in the game before junior guard Nicolas Louis-Jacques connected on two free throws with four seconds left to preserve the win.
*Raiders’ sophomore guard Braeden Smith finished with 11 points, four assists and two steals, while senior forward Jeff Woodward added 10 points and seven boards to help the Raiders outlast the Mountain Hawks’ late run.
*Lehigh junior guard Tyler Whitney-Sidney scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-14 shooting from the floor to go with six rebounds. Whitney-Sidney eclipsed 1,000 career points late in the second half.
*Senior forward Dominic Parolin and junior guard Keith Higgins Jr. each scored 11 points for the Mountain Hawks.

BOSTON – Senior forward Anthony Morales led four Terriers in double-figures with 20 points as Boston University downed Holy Cross, 94-84, to split the season series with Holy Cross and clinch a top-four seed in the Patriot League PenFed Credit Union Men’s Basketball Championship.
*Senior guard Miles Brewster added 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while freshman guard Kyrone Alexader scored 15 points and blocked three shots to help the Terriers hold off a Crusaders’ second-half run that cut a 17-point halftime lead to three points by the 14:06 mark.
*Terriers’ sophomore forward Nico Nobili finished with 12 points and five boards.
*Holy Cross sophomore guard Will Batchelder finished with 20 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the floor, including 5-of-11 from long range.
*Junior forward Caleb Kenney and senior guard Joe Octave added 18 points and seven boards apiece, while senior guard Bo Montgomery scored 12 points.

WASHINGTON – Sophomore guard Austin Benigni and freshman guard Jordan Pennick scored 16 points apiece to lead Navy to a 71-65 victory over American in the regular-season finale to split the season series.
*Pennick connected on 6-of-10 from the floor, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, to score his career-high. He also pulled down six rebounds. Benigni connected on 11-of-12 from the charity stripe to go with five assists and four boards for the Midshipmen.
*Sophomore forward Donovan Draper added 14 points, while sophomore center Aidan Kehoe registered nine points and a team-high seven rebounds.
*American senior forward Matt Rogers and junior guard Elijah Stephens scored 23 points apiece to lead the Eagles.
*Rogers pulled down six rebounds, while Stephens shot 8-of-12 from the floor and dished out four assists.

BALTIMORE – Graduate student forward Golden Dike’s layup with two seconds remaining helped Loyola Maryland overcome a five-point deficit in the final 11 seconds to defeat Army West Point, 69-68, to sweep the season series.
*Loyola Maryland freshman guard Jordan Stiemke’s 3-pointer with 11 seconds remaining started the Greyhounds’ game-winning 6-1 run.  Stiemke finished with a team-high 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the field, including 5-of-6 from beyond the arc.
*Sophomore guard Tyson Commander added 14 points, and senior forward Alonso Faure added 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals and one block to stuff the stat sheet to help the Greyhounds win the regular-season finale at Reitz Arena.
*Army West Point freshman guard Ryan Curry scored a game-high 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the floor. He connected on 3-of-4 from long distance and dished out four assists.
*Black Knights’ sophomore guard Jaden Ellis scored a career-high 12 points and added four assists.

*Edmonds recorded team-bests with six assists and two steals, while Bijiek pulled down six rebounds for the Bison. Sophomore center Noah Williamson added eight points, eight boards and four blocked shots.
*Bucknell outscored Lafayette, 34-26, in the second half.
*Senior forwards Kyle Jenkins and Eric Sondberg scored 12 points apiece to lead the Leopards.
*Jenkins shot 6-of-10 from the floor and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
