WASHINGTON – No. 1 Colgate, No. 2 Boston University, No. 5 Bucknell and No. 6 Lehigh advanced to Sunday’s semifinal round of the 2024 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship.
The top-seeded Raiders defeated No. 9 Holy Cross, 84-68, and No. 5 Bucknell downed No. 4 American 80-57. Colgate will host the Bison in Sunday’s semifinal round with live coverage beginning at 2 p.m. on CBS Sports Network. Jason Knapp and Mo Cassara will be on the call.
The second-seeded Terriers outlasted No. 7 Navy, 70-61, while No. 6 Lehigh beat No. 3 Lafayette, 76-61. BU will take on the Mountain Hawks in the second semifinal matchup on Sunday. Live coverage begins at 4 p.m. on CBS Sports Network with Chris Lewis and Tre Demps providing the call.

*Patriot League Player of the Year Braeden Smith added 12 points, eight assists and seven boards, while senior forward Jeff Woodward chipped in 10 points off the bench for a balanced Raiders offense.

*Chebuhar connected on 8-of-11 from the floor, including 6-of-7 from 3-point range, while grabbing seven boards and dishing out six assists. Whitney-Sidney grabbed a team-high eight boards to help the Mountain Hawks go 3-0 against the Leopards this season.
*Senior forward Dominic Parolin added 14 points and seven rebounds to send Lehigh to the semifinal round for the first time since 2022.
*The Mountain Hawks shot 65 percent (13-of-20) from beyond the arc, while connecting on 53.8 percent (28-of-52) from the floor.
*Lafayette freshman guard Mark Butler led three Leopards in double-figures with 11 points. He added six assists, five steals and four rebounds.
