BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After clinching its ninth consecutive regular-season title Loyola Maryland collected three of the six Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse major awards when the League office announced postseason honors on Monday. Holy Cross, Lehigh and Navy all garnered one postseason major award.
Greyhounds’ senior Sydni Black claimed Patriot League Attacker of the Year, junior Chase Boyle earned Midfielder of the Year and junior Lily Osborne captured Defensive Player of the Year. Black, Boyle and Osborne were among Loyola Maryland’s League-high five First-Team All-Patriot League selections and the team’s seven overall All-League honorees.
Lehigh senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year, while Navy freshman midfielder Mikayla Williams received Patriot League Rookie of the Year honors.
Holy Cross’s Amanda Belichick was voted Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year after leading the Crusaders to a 6-3 League record and the No. 4 seed in the Patriot League Championship.
Overall, there were 34 student-athletes voted onto the two All-Patriot League squads, with 16 receiving first-team accolades and 18 earning a spot on the second team. The Greyhounds placed a League-high seven student-athletes on the two All-League teams. Navy had six All-League honorees, including four first-teamers, while Holy Cross and Lehigh had five honorees apiece, with three and two first-team selections, respectively. Army West Point finished with four All-League members, with two first-teamers. American and Colgate have two All-League members, while Boston University, Bucknell and Lafayette each have one representative.
Patriot League women’s lacrosse head coaches voted on the All-League teams and major awards. They were prohibited from voting for their student-athletes or themselves.
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Attacker of the Year

2024 Statistics: 17 GP, 64 G, 25 A, 89 P, .496 SH%, .860 SOG%, 21 GB, 14 CT, 71 DC
*Black, a three-time All-Patriot League selection, finished second in the Patriot League and fourth in NCAA DI with 64 goals, ranking third in the League and fourth in the nation with 89 points.
*The three-time Patriot League Attacker of the Week helped the Greyhounds to the eighth-ranked scoring offense in NCAA DI, averaging 15.94 goals per game.
*She is one of 25 nominees for the Tewaaraton Award, presented annually to the top men’s and women’s college lacrosse players in the United States.
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Midfielder of the Year

2024 Statistics: 17 GP, 74 G, 13 A, 87 P, .542 SH%, .759 SOG%, 16 GB, 42 CT, 180 DC
*Boyle leads the Patriot League and NCAA DI with 74 goals, the sixth-highest single-season mark in Patriot League history, while her 5.24 points per game is 15th in the nation.
*Her 10.59 draw controls per game is third in NCAA DI, and her total of 180 draw controls is second on the single-season Patriot League leaders list behind former teammate Jillian Wilson’s 198 in 2023.
*The Tewaaraton Award Top-25 semifinalist tied a Patriot League record by collecting six League Midfielder of the Week honors while earning IWLCA DI Co-Offensive Player of the Week on April 16 after scoring a career-high eight goals in a win vs. then-No. 17 Princeton.
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Year

2024 Statistics: 17 GP, 1 G, 1 A, 2 P, .308 SH%, .538 SOG%, 23 GB, 23 CT, 1 DC
*Osborne, a two-time All-Patriot League selection, finished the regular season tied for second in the League with 23 caused turnovers while holding her assigned matchup to two points or less in 12 games.
*She earned Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week twice, helping a Greyhounds’ team finish first in the Patriot League and ninth in NCAA DI in scoring defense, allowing just 8.47 goals per game.
*The Oxford, Md. native helped the Greyhounds limit opponents to single-digit goal totals in seven of their nine League games.
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Goalkeeper of the Year

*The three-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week led the League and finished the regular season ranked fifth in NCAA DI with a .508 save percentage and eighth with 10.87 saves per game.
*Hunt, a three-time All-Patriot League honoree, is fifth among NCAA DI active goalkeepers with 577 career saves, ranking 14th in Patriot League history.
*The Philadelphia, Pa. native is third in the Patriot League with a 10.79 goals-against average while ranking fourth in the League and 18th in NCAA DI with 2.87 ground balls per game.
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Rookie of the Year

*Williams is a four-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week, ranking fifth on Navy in points (38) and goals (23) and second in assists (15), tops in all three categories among League freshmen.
*The freshman midfielder placed second among the Mids’ and League freshmen leaders in ground balls (28) and caused turnovers (12) to rank 13th on

*She was part of a Navy squad that ranked second in the Patriot League and eighth in NCAA DI in scoring margin (+6.94).
2024 Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse Coach of the Year
Amanda Belichick, Holy Cross
*Belichick guided Holy Cross to an 11-5 regular-season record, 6-3 in League play, the program’s most wins since 2007 and most League victories since 2006.
*Holy Cross’s offense averaged 13.88 goals per game, fourth in the League and 31st in NCAA DI. They ranked third in the League with 21.82 points per game.
*Her Crusaders’ squad led the Patriot League and ranked 11th in NCAA DI with 8.06 assists per game, while junior attacker Isabella Miller led the League in the category and ranked seventh in the nation with 3.0 assists per game.
Patriot League Women’s Lacrosse All-League Teams by the Numbers
Nineteen of the 34 All-Patriot League selections are multi-year honorees, highlighted by Lehigh graduate student attacker Gabby Schneider, who becomes the 31st women’s lacrosse student-athlete to garner All-League accolades four times, and just the ninth to make the first team each season. Five more received All-League honors for the third time, including American senior defender Jordan Mitchell, Army West Point senior attack Julia Gorajek, Lehigh senior goalkeeper Hayley Hunt and Loyola Maryland senior attack Sydni Black and junior attack Georgia Latch (Jr.).
