BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League has reached an agreement with GameStrat to become the exclusive provider of sideline tablet technology for the League’s seven football programs. The deal makes the Patriot League among the first NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) conferences to sign an agreement for its member programs.
GameStrat, a leading provider of sideline tablet technology solutions, will supply the seven Patriot League football programs with sideline tablet technology, approved by the NCAA for the 2024 season. The technology will provide coaches and student-athletes with in-game, multi-angle footage and instant replay capabilities, enabling them to review film on the sidelines and make real-time adjustments.
“We are thrilled to partner with GameStrat to provide our member football programs with the best in sideline technology,” Patriot League Commissioner Jennifer Heppel said. “They have a well-deserved reputation of innovation and reliability that we expect to serve our membership well.”
The Patriot League enters its 39th season of competition at the NCAA DI FCS level when the season kicks off on Thursday, August 29. Defending League champion Lafayette travels north to play FBS opponent Buffalo (6 p.m.), while Fordham takes on another FBS opponent, Bowling Green (7 p.m.). Both games will be available live on ESPN+.
