BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh caused four turnovers in the first half, including three interceptions, to open a 42-0 halftime lead on their way to a 49-13 victory in its home opener against Wagner.
*Junior safety Nick Peltekian finished with two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown, to lead the Mountain Hawks’ defense.
*The Mountain Hawks enjoyed good field position early, recovering a fumbled punt return at the Seahawks’ 17-yard line to set up their first score, a 16-yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Dante Perri to junior wide receiver Geoffrey Jamiel.
*Interceptions on consecutive Wagner drives by sophomore safety Mason Moore and Peltekian set up short fields and touchdown runs by first-year running back Jaden Green and sophomore running back Luke Yoder, helping the Mountain Hawks take a 21-0 lead by the end of the first quarter.
*Lehigh continued to roll in the second quarter, as first-year quarterback Hayden Johnson rushed for a 45-yard score midway through the frame. Perri added a two-yard touchdown rush with 1:03 remaining in the half.
*On the ensuing drive, Peltekian picked off his second pass of the game, returning it 27 yards to put the Mountain Hawks in front, 42-0, the highest-scoring Lehigh first half since posting 42 points in a 63-35 victory at Yale on Oct. 1, 2016.
*In the third quarter, Perri connected on a 37-yard touchdown pass with sophomore wide receiver Mason Humphrey to extend the lead to 49 points. Perri completed 6-of-8 passes for 84 yards and two touchdown passes.
*Junior linebacker Brycen Edwards registered a game-high nine tackles. Sophomore linebacker William Parton added six tackles and 1.5 TFLs to lead a defense that held the Seahawks scoreless until the 7:09 mark in the third quarter.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Georgetown held Marist scoreless in the second half, scoring the final 24 points of the game to cruise to a 31-10 victory at Tenney Stadium to improve to 2-0.
*Junior quarterback Danny Lauter completed 21-of-27 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown pass, while junior wide receiver Nicholas Dunneman had seven catches for 70 yards.
*Trailing 10-7 at the half, The Hoyas tied the game quickly in the third quarter on 38-yard field goal from senior placekicker Patrick Ryan.
*Senior running back Naieem Kearney gave GU its first lead of the game with a three-yard touchdown run with 2:35 remaining in the third, his second rushing touchdown of the game and fourth of the season.  
*The Hoyas extended the lead in the fourth quarter as Lauter capped an eight-play, 68-yard drive with a 12-yard touchdown pass to sophomore tight end Isaiah Grimes.
*Junior running back Mason Gudger sealed Georgetown’s win with a 17-yard touchdown run, completing a 13-play, 80-yard scoring drive that took more than seven minutes off the clock in the final quarter. Gudger finished with a team-leading 51 rushing yards on eight carries.
*Georgetown’s defense limited Marist to one drive of more than 15 yards in the second half, as graduate student linebacker David Ealey III posted a game-high 11 tackles with 1.5 sacks.
*Sophomore linebacker GianCarlo Rufo added nine tackles and 1.0 TFL, and sophomore defensive lineman Cooper Blomstrom finished with six tackles and 1.0 TFL.

WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. – Sophomore quarterback Dean DeNobile threw two touchdown passes in the final 53 seconds of the fourth quarter to lead Lafayette to a 40-35 comeback victory over Monmouth.
*DeNobile completed 31-of-45 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns, both in the final minute of play.
*Junior wide receiver Elijah Steward caught 15 passes, one shy of a Patriot League single-game record, for 244 yards and a 42-yard touchdown catch with 36 seconds left in the game to put Lafayette in front.
*Leopards’ junior running back Jamar Curtis rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns on 21 carries, while sophomore running back Troy Bruce added 21 yards and one touchdown on five carries.
*Senior defensive back Gabe DuBois recorded a team-high seven tackles and sealed the win with an interception at Lafayette’s 30-yard line.
*The Leopards and Hawks traded touchdowns throughout the game, with Curtis tying the score 28 on a two-yard run in with 6:25 left in the fourth quarter.
*Monmouth answered with a 10-play, 80-yard drive that resulted in a 17-yard touchdown run by Sone Ntoh with 1:54 left in the game.
*The Leopards drove quickly, as DeNobile took the team 81 yards on four plays, ending with a 12-yard touchdown pass to senior wide receiver Chris Carasia before a two-point pass failed.
*Lafayette recovered senior placekicker Jakob Trestik’s onside kick with 51 seconds left, and DeNobile found Steward two plays later on a 42-yard touchdown pass to put the Leopards in front.
*Senior safety Saiku White finished with six tackles and an interception, while senior defensive back Semaj Cross recorded six tackles. Senior defensive back Neriyan Brown posted two tackles and one sack.

LEXINGTON, Va. – Senior quarterback Ralph Rucker IV completed 28-of-37 passes for 340 yards and three touchdowns to lead Bucknell to a 35-28 victory at VMI.
*Rucker connected on two touchdown passes to junior wide receiver Josh Gary in the third quarter to put the Bison in front by 14, breaking the 14-14 halftime tie. Gary finished with 54 yards on three receptions.
*Bucknell sophomore receiver TJ Cadden added six catches for 87 yards and a 35-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter. He also returned a punt 40 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter.
*Junior wide receiver Eric Weatherly posted game-highs with nine receptions and 105 receiving yards.
*Bison sophomore linebacker Gavin Willis registered a team-high 12 tackles, while senior safety John Schlendorf posted six tackles and a sack. Senior cornerback Chris Sims intercepted his first pass of the season.
*VMI took a first-quarter lead as the Keydets’ Asa Locks intercepted a Bucknell pass and returned it 48 yards for a touchdown.  
*The Bison answered when TJ Cadden returned a punt for a 40-yard score with 2:29 remaining in the first quarter.
*Senior running back Paul Neel gave Bucknell its first lead with a two-yard touchdown run in the second quarter. The Keydets responded with a long touchdown run late in the half to tie the score at 14.
*Bucknell scored 21 straight points to open the second half. VMI responded with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the Bison held on for its first win of the season.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior quarterback Joe Pesansky threw for 301 yards and a touchdown, completing 19-of-29 passes, but Holy Cross fell to New Hampshire, 21-20, in its home opener at Fitton Field.
*Pesansky connected with senior tight end Jacob Petersen on a 71-yard touchdown pass at the 9:43 mark in the third quarter to give the Crusaders a 20-14 lead. Petersen finished with a career-high 110 receiving yards and a score on six receptions.
*Holy Cross could not muster any offense in the fourth quarter, as the Wildcats’ early fourth-quarter touchdown handed the Crusaders their second loss of three or fewer points in as many weeks.
*Senior running back Jordan Fuller added 84 rushing yards and a third-quarter touchdown on 23 carries.
*Holy Cross senior wide receiver Justin Shorter caught five passes for 95 yards and sophomore receiver Chris Mullaly added five receptions for 77 yards.
*Sophomore cornerback Cam Jones posted a team-high 11 tackles, and senior linebacker Frankie Monte added six tackles and a half sack.
*Senior safety Curtis Harris-Lopez finished with five tackles and an interception for the Crusaders.
*Sophomore placekicker Daniel Porto went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts, connecting from 31 and 27 yards. He was also 2-for-2 on PATs.

HAMILTON, N.Y. – The Raiders’ defense held No. 5 Villanova to seven first-half points to keep the game within reach, but the Wildcats scored 21 unanswered points in the second half as Colgate dropped its home opener 28-3.
*Junior linebacker Cole Kozlowski led Colgate with 11 tackles and 1.0 TFL, while fifth-year linebacker Christian Sweeney posted five tackles and one sack. Senior defensive back Asauni Allen added six tackles.
*After Villanova scored a first-quarter touchdown, the Raiders’ responded at the 14:04 mark in the second quarter when sophomore placekicker Luke Vogeler connected on a 39-yard field goal to make the score 7-3.
*The Wildcats added a touchdown early in the third quarter and then two more long scoring drives in the fourth to seal Colgate’s fate.
*Colgate senior quarterback Michael Brescia completed 16-of-32 passes for 140 yards and rushed for 71 yards on 14 carries to lead the offense.
*Junior wide receiver Treyvhon Saunders caught five passes for 54 yards.

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. – Fordham could not keep pace with Central Connecticut State, falling 33-3 on Saturday evening at Arute Field.
*Senior running back Julius Loughridge rushed for a game-high 127 yards on 15 carries to lead the Rams’ offense.
*Fordham senior defensive back Nahil Perkins recorded two interceptions and five tackles, while senior defensive lineman Matt Jaworski added six tackles and 2.0 TFLs.
*The Rams trailed 19-0 at the half before freshman placekicker Bennett Henderson connected on a 20-yard field goal to cap an 11-play, 52-yard drive.
*CCSU found the end zone two more times on touchdown passes from Brady Olson as Fordham fell to 0-2.
*Junior quarterback CJ Montes completed 17-of-36 passes for 141 yards. Senior wide receivers Mekai Felton and Garrett Cody totaled 48 and 47 receiving yards, respectively, for Fordham.
