BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Colgate, Fordham, Holy Cross and Georgetown split the four Patriot League football weekly awards, presented by Credit Union 1, when the League office announced honors on Monday.
Colgate junior wide receiver Reed Swanson earned Patriot League Football Offensive Player of the Week, finishing with career-highs of 11 receptions for 183 yards and a touchdown in a 21-17 loss at Georgetown.
Fordham graduate student linebacker James Conway was named Patriot League Football Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season after registering 17 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss (TFLs) and a forced fumble in a loss vs. Dartmouth.
Holy Cross sophomore punter Ethan Moss claimed the Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week. He averaged 45.1 yards per punt on seven attempts, including a career-long 67-yard punt in a 28-22 win against Richmond.
Georgetown freshman defensive back Brian Lloyd was selected Patriot League Rookie of the Week. His first collegiate interception, coming with less than a minute remaining in the game, sealed the Hoyas’ 21-17 victory over Colgate.
Colgate senior defensive lineman Dane Picariello, Georgetown senior quarterback Dez Thomas II and junior cornerback Braylon Wise, Holy Cross junior running back Jayden Clerveaux and junior linebacker Adam Due, and Richmond graduate student placekicker Jayden Alsheskie received honorable mentions for their performances last week.
The Patriot League football players of the week are selected in a vote by League media members and each school’s football athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Swanson recorded career-highs of 11 receptions for 183 yards and a touchdown in Colgate’s 21-17 loss at Georgetown.
*The junior wideout caught a 12-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter to put the Raiders in front 17-14.
*He posted his second straight 100-yard receiving game and third of the season.

*Conway registered a game-high 17 tackles and 1.5 TFLs in Fordham’s loss against Dartmouth.
*The graduate student linebacker also forced a fumble and broke up a pass.
*He has recorded double-digit tackles in six of the Rams’ seven games and is 12 tackles shy of breaking the FCS career tackles record.

Ethan Moss, Holy Cross, So., P, Brentwood, N.H./Phillips Exeter Academy
*Moss averaged 45.1 yards per punt on seven attempts, including a career-long 67-yard punt in the Crusaders’ 28-22 win over Richmond.
*He had two punts of more than 50 yards and landed two punts inside the Spiders’ 20-yard line, with one touchback.
*He pinned a 56-yard punt at Richmond’s three-yard line late in the fourth quarter to help preserve the Crusaders’ lead.
Patriot League Football Credit Union 1 Rookie of the Week
Brian Lloyd, Georgetown, Fr., DB, San Diego, Calif./Williston-Northampton
*Lloyd made his first collegiate interception with 28 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter to seal Georgetown’s 28-22 win over Colgate.
*The freshman defensive back added two tackles and two pass breakups to help the Hoyas’ defense limit the Raiders to 17 points.
*His two pass breakups were a career-high, giving him four this season.

Dane Picariello, Colgate, Sr., DL, Bristol, Pa./St. Joe’s Prep
*Picariello finished with a career-high 11 tackles and 1.0 TFL in Colgate’s loss at Georgetown. He helped the Raiders hold GU to 3.0 yards per carry.
Dez Thomas II, Georgetown, Sr., QB, Houston, Texas/Vista Ridge (Trinity)
*Thomas rushed for two touchdowns, including a 12-yard score in the fourth quarter to put Georgetown in front for good in a 21-17 win over Colgate. He completed 15-of-21 passes for 165 yards.
Braylon Wise, Georgetown, Jr., CB, Sherman Oaks, Calif./Notre Dame
*Wise posted 14 tackles, including 10 solo stops, in Georgetown’s 21-17 win over Colgate. He added a half tackle for loss and a pass breakup to help hold the Raiders to 17 points.
Jayden Clerveaux, Holy Cross, Jr., RB, Everett, Mass./Williston Northampton
*Clerveaux rushed for 77 yards on 12 carries, including a 43-yard touchdown run in the third quarter in Holy Cross’ 28-22 win over Richmond. He also caught one pass for 11 yards.
Adam Due, Holy Cross, Jr., LB, Prosper, Texas/Prosper
*Due finished with seven tackles, 1.0 TFL for a loss of 12 yards, a forced fumble and a blocked punt in the Crusaders’ 28-22 win over Richmond. His forced fumble in the third quarter set up a Holy Cross touchdown on the next play before his blocked punt helped seal the win.
Jayden Alsheskie, Richmond, Gr., K, Highland Springs, Va./Highland Springs
*Alsheskie connected on a career-high three field goals, hitting from 41, 28 and 27 yards in the Spiders’ 28-22 loss against Holy Cross. His 41-yard field goal matched his career-long. He is 7-of-7 on field goals and 17-of-17 on PATs in his first season as Richmond’s primary placekicker.
