BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Army West Point collected two of the five Patriot League women’s soccer weekly awards presented by PenFed Credit Union, when the League office announced the final set of honors for the 2025 season on Monday. Boston University, Colgate and Lafayette each received one weekly honor.
For the second straight week, Colgate sophomore forward Josie Tunney was named Patriot League Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week after a three-point performance in the Raiders’ 4-2 win against Bucknell.
Boston University senior Giulianna Gianino earned Patriot League Women’s Soccer Midfielder of the Week honors for the third time this year and sixth time in her career following a four-point performance in the Terriers’ 4-0 win at Lehigh on Friday.
Army West Point senior defender Jordan Follenweider received Patriot League Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week recognition for the second straight week and third time this season following the Black Knights’ third straight shutout victory.
Lafayette junior Catherine Apker received Patriot League Women’s Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honors for the second time this year after a 10-save shutout performance in the Leopards’ 2-0 win at Navy.
Army West Point freshman forward Sophia Henry collected Patriot League Women’s Soccer Rookie of the Week honors for a record-breaking sixth time this season after scoring her ninth goal in the Black Knights’ victory over Loyola Maryland. She eclipsed the single-season record held by Army West Point’s Kim An (2010).
Honorable mentions went to Army West Point sophomore midfielder Bella Conti and senior midfielder Brigid Duffy, Boston University sophomore goalkeeper Bridget Carr, Colgate first-year forward Jess Urena, Lafayette junior defender Eva Acker and junior midfielder Nadia Zaffanella.
The Patriot League women’s soccer players of the week are selected in a vote by League head coaches, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Apker made 10 saves to earn her fifth shutout of the season in Lafayette’s 2-0 victory at Navy on Friday night.
*The junior is tied for second in the Patriot League in shutouts (5), third in saves per game (5.00), fourth in save percentage (.792) and sixth in goals-against average (1.35).
