2025 Patriot League Women’s Volleyball First-Round Preview (11.17.25)

No. 3 Army West Point welcomes No. 6 Lehigh; No. 4 Bucknell hosts No. 5 Navy

BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The six-team 2025 Women’s Volleyball Championship, presented by Credit Union 1, begins on Tuesday, Nov. 18, with a pair of first-round matches.

No. 6 Lehigh (12-13, 6-10 PL) travels to West Point, N.Y. to face No. 3 Army West Point (17-7, 11-4 PL) at Gillis Field House, while No. 4 Bucknell (12-13, 9-7 PL) meets No. 5 Navy (12-13 8-8 PL) in Lewisburg, Pa. at Davis Gym. Both matches will be played at 6 p.m. on ESPN+.

The highest-advancing seed will play No. 2 Colgate on Friday, Nov. 22, at 3 p.m., and the lowest-advancing seed will meet No. 1 American at 6:30 p.m.

Both semifinal-round matches will be played at Bender Arena on the campus of American University in Washington, D.C.

The semifinal winners will square off in the 2025 Patriot League Volleyball Championship Match on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m.

Volleyball Hosts Navy in Patriot League First Round on Tuesday Night

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell clinched the fourth seed in the Patriot League Tournament and welcomes the fifth-seeded Navy Midshipmen in a first-round matchup on Tuesday night. Bucknell and Navy have met five times in the conference tournament as the Mids own a 4-1 record.

No. 6 Lehigh Heads to No. 3 Army for Patriot League Championship First Round
BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The road to the Patriot League Championship begins on Tuesday evening for No. 6 Lehigh volleyball on the road against No. 3 Army West Point. The first-round matchup between the Mountain Hawks and Black Knights will begin at 6 p.m.

Lehigh (12-13, 6-10 PL) and Army (17-8, 11-5 PL) split the regular season series 1-1, with the Black Knights winning 3-1 in West Point on September 26 and the Mountain Hawks winning 3-0 on November 7 at Grace Hall. The Mountain Hawks are making their second consecutive trip to the postseason after advancing to the Patriot League Semifinals as the sixth seed a year ago.

Volleyball to Face Bucknell Tuesday in League Tournament Opener
ANNAPOLIS, MD. –
Navy heads to Lewisburg, Pa., for a Patriot League Tournament first-round match against Bucknell Tuesday at 6 p.m. Navy is appearing in the Patriot League Tournament for the 21st time and enters Tuesday's match with a 19-22 record in the postseason.
