BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Lehigh junior running back Luke Yoder and senior linebacker Tyler Ochojski captured Patriot League Football Offensive and Defensive Players of the Year, respectively, when the League office announced 2025 postseason honors on Tuesday.
Yoder finished among the League and FCS leaders in rushing yards (1,329), rushing touchdowns (15) and yards per carry (7.11), while posting career-highs of 234 yards and four touchdowns in the Mountain Hawks’ season finale to finish the regular season 12-0, claiming their second straight League title and the No. 5 seed in the 2025 FCS Playoffs. Ochojski led the Patriot League in sacks (10), while finishing fourth in TFLs (12.0) for a League-high loss of 90 yards to help Lehigh’s defense rank among the nation’s elite.
Lehigh’s coaching staff, led by third-year head coach Kevin Cahill, earned the Patriot League Dick Biddle Coaching Staff of the Year award after guiding the Mountain Hawks to one of three undefeated teams in the FCS and their second straight League crown. The Mountain Hawks also earned the No. 5 seed in the FCS Playoffs.
Colgate first-year wide receiver Matt Fogler was voted Patriot League Rookie of the Year. The two-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week finished fourth in the League with seven touchdown receptions and third with 18.0 yards per reception.
Overall, 63 student-athletes were selected to the All-Patriot League First and Second Teams. The League champion Mountain Hawks led the way with 14 selections, including 12 members of the first team. Lafayette and Richmond each had 11 representatives, with the Leopards placing five on the first team and the Spiders having four first-teamers. Holy Cross and Georgetown had eight All-League selections apiece, with the Crusaders putting four players on the first team and the Hoyas finishing with two first-team representatives. Bucknell placed six student-athletes on the two teams, including two on the first, while Colgate had four representatives and Fordham had one student-athlete recognized.
The eight Patriot League football head coaches voted on the major awards and All-League teams. They were not allowed to vote for their student-athletes or themselves.
2025 Patriot League Football Offensive Player of the Year
Luke Yoder, Lehigh, Jr., RB, Palm Harbor, Fla./East Lake
2025 Statistics: 12 GP, 187 carries, 1,329 rushing yards (110.75 ypg), 7.10 yards per carry, 15 TDs
*Yoder ranked sixth in the FCS in rushing yards (1,329), eighth in rushing touchdowns (15) and fourth in yards per carry (7.11) to help Lehigh boast the fourth-ranked rushing offense (233.7 ypg) in the FCS.
*He scored in nine of the Mountain Hawks’ 12 games, with five multi-touchdown games. Three of his games with multiple touchdowns came in League play.
*The junior running back earned Patriot League and Stats Perform National FCS Offensive Player of the Week after rushing for a career-high 234 yards and four touchdowns against Lafayette to clinch the League title and a berth in the FCS Playoffs.
2025 Patriot League Football Defensive Player of the Year

2025 Statistics: 12 GP, 56 total tackles, 12.0 TFLs of 90 yards, 10.0 sacks, 1 FF, 1 FR, four pass breakups, 7 QBH
*Ochojski led the Patriot League in sacks (10) and recorded 12.0 TFLs for a League-high loss of 90 yards.
*In seven League games, he recorded 9.0 TFLs and 8.0 sacks, including a 4.0-TFL and 3.0-sack performance in a 41-0 win over Georgetown to earn Patriot League Defensive Player of the Week.
*He helped the Mountain Hawks lead the FCS in rushing defense (73.7 ypg) and red zone defense (0.655), place second in scoring defense (13.9 ppg), and fifth in total defense (281.6 ypg) and team sacks (3.33 spg).
2025 Patriot League Football Rookie of the Year

2025 Statistics: 11 GP, 23 receptions, 413 receiving yards, 17.9 yards per reception, 7 receiving TDs
*Fogler finished fourth in the Patriot League and 30th in the FCS with seven receiving touchdowns, all coming in the final four games of the season.
*The two-time Patriot League Rookie of the Week recorded two multi-touchdown games, catching a career-high three scores against Lafayette (Nov. 8) and two against Bucknell (Nov. 22).
*In League play, his six receiving touchdowns tied teammate Reed Swanson for first in the League, while his 19.3 yards per reception in League games is second.

Fordham’s Conway Joins Five-Time All-Patriot League Club After Breaking NCAA DI Tackles Records
Fordham graduate student linebacker James Conway became the second football student-athlete in Patriot League history to earn All-League honors five times, joining Lafayette’s Malik Hamm. Conway led the FCS with 13.3 tackles per game, while breaking the FCS and NCAA DI career tackles records this season, finishing his career with 595 total tackles.
Four Patriot League Wide Receivers Collect All-League Honors for the Third Time
Four Patriot League wide receivers are among 155 players to earn All-League accolades three or more times. Colgate senior wide receiver Treyvhon Saunders, Georgetown senior wide receiver Jimmy Kibble and Lehigh senior wide receiver Geoffrey Jamiel all claimed first-team honors. Saunders was a first-team selection in 2024. Lafayette senior wide receiver Elijah Steward claimed second-team honors.
Eighteen Patriot League Players Earn Second All-League Nod
The 2025 All-Patriot League Teams feature 18 student-athletes who are earning Leaguewide recognition for the second time. Bucknell’s Sam Milligan (Jr. STNS/WR), Holy Cross’ Max Mosey (Sr., RS), Lehigh’s TJ Burke (Sr., DL), Langston Jones (Sr., OL) and Matt Spatny (Sr., DL) all claimed first-team recognition for the second straight season. Georgetown’s Cooper Blomstrom (Jr., DL), Holy Cross’ Cam Jones (Jr., DB) and Cam Nolan (Jr., OL), Lafayette’s Dylan Aguilera (Jr., LS) and Lehigh’s Aidan Palmer (Sr., OL) and Yoder earned first-team honors after making the second team in 2024. Lafayette’s Dean DeNobile was selected to the first team after being named to the second team in 2023.
Bucknell’s Ralph Rucker IV (5th-year, QB), last season’s offensive player of the year, earned All-League honors for the second time, along with Holy Cross’s Jayden Clerveaux (Jr., RB). Bucknell’s John Ohnegian (Sr., OL), Colgate’s Luke Vogeler (Jr., PK), Georgetown's GianCarlo Rufo (Jr., LB) and Lehigh’s Jaden Green (So., RB) all earned second-team honors for the second straight season.
Milligan and Schearer Claim All-League Accolades in Multiple Spots
Bucknell junior wide receiver Sam Milligan and senior placekicker/punter Matt Schearer earned All-League honors in two spots. Milligan, who caught a League-high 10 touchdown passes, earned second-team honors at wide receiver and first-team honors as a special teams non-specialist. Schearer, who led the League in field goals (13) and a League-long 50-yarder, made the first-team as a placekicker and is the second-team punter.
FCS Leaders Among the All-Patriot League Honorees
*Five-time All-Patriot League selection James Conway finished the regular season leading the FCS in total tackles per game (13.3).
*Lafayette’s Kente Edwards (Jr., RB) led the FCS in rushing yards per carry (7.31), while ranking third in rushing touchdowns (20) and rushing yards (1,454).
*Lehigh’s Geoffrey Jamiel (Sr., WR) and Georgetown’s Jimmy Kibble (Sr., WR) finished sixth and seventh in the FCS in receiving yards with 1,026 and 1,002 yards, respectively.
*Lafayette’s Ryan Gadson (So., DB) finished second in the FCS in passes defended per game (1.60), while Georgetown’s Quincy Briggs (Jr., DB) finished fourth in interceptions per game (0.42).
*Holy Cross’ Max Mosey was second in the FCS with two punt returns for touchdowns.
