BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Six Black Knights scored in double-figures, led by 19 points and a career-high 14 rebounds from junior guard Ryan Curry, to lift Army West Point to an 85-78 overtime victory at Lehigh in the League season opener.
*Curry and the Black Knights outrebounded the Mountain Hawks, 46-26, including 5-2 in overtime to outscore Lehigh 17-10 in the extra frame to claim their fourth straight win.
*Freshman guard Jackson Furman posted 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists off the bench, while sophomore forward Jacen Holloway and sophomore guard Jaxson Bell added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
*Lehigh sophomore forward Hank Alvey led the Mountain Hawks with 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting and six boards.
*Junior guard Nasir Whitlock finished with 18 points, eight assists and four rebounds, and sophomore forward Edouard Benoit chipped in 11 points and five rebounds.
