BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Holy Cross collected three of the five Patriot League women’s lacrosse weekly awards when the League office announced the first set of honors for the 2025 season. Colgate and No. 16 Navy garnered one accolade apiece.
Crusaders’ senior Sally Zinsner claimed Patriot League Attacker of the Week after posting career-highs of nine points and six points in a 22-13 win over Fairfield. Senior Ella Kittredge earned Midfielder of the Week honors after scoring a career-high five goals and picking up six draw controls. Junior Racheli Levy-Smith picked up Defender of the Week, winning nine draws and picking up three ground balls.
Colgate sophomore Lauren Solis was named Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Week. She posted a .533 save percentage with eight saves in the Raiders’ 18-7 win over Monmouth.
Navy freshman Alyssa Chung was named Patriot League Rookie of the Week. The freshman attack recorded four points, including three first-half goals, in her collegiate debut against Saint Joseph’s.
Army West Point junior midfielder Brigid Duffy, junior defender Meghan Pedrani and junior attack Allison Reilly, Colgate junior attack Caroline Panzirer, Navy sophomore goalkeeper Felicia Giglio, sophomore defender Jaclyn Johns, senior attack Emily Messinese, sophomore midfielder Mikayla Williams all earned honorable mentions for their performances last week.
The Patriot League women’s lacrosse players of the week were selected in a vote by each school’s women’s lacrosse athletics communications contacts, who are not eligible to vote for their student-athletes.

*Levy-Smith led the Crusaders with nine draw controls, three ground balls and one caused turnover in Holy Cross’ 22-13 win at Fairfield.
*Her nine draw controls are the 11th-highest single-game total in program history, helping Holy Cross hold a 20-17 advantage on draws against Fairfield.
*She helped the Crusaders’ defense hold Fairfield to three goals between the second and third quarters.
PATRIOT LEAGUE WOMEN’S LACROSSE GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK

*The freshman attack scored all three goals in the first half to help the Mids jump out to a 6-0 first-quarter lead.
*She picked up one ground ball and one caused turnover.

*Duffy finished with four points on two goals and two assists to go with a game-high four caused turnovers, four ground balls and three draw controls in the Black Knights’ season-opening 10-9 win over Rutgers on Saturday.
Meghan Pedrani, Army West Point, Jr., Defender, Neshanic Station, N.J./Somerville
*Pedrani caused three turnovers and picked up one ground ball to help the Black Knights hold Rutgers to single-digit goals in a 10-9 victory.
Allison Reilly, Army West Point, Jr., Attack, Sayville, N.Y./Sayville
*Reilly scored a game-high three goals and dished out the game-winning assist for four points in Army West Point’s 10-9 over Big Ten opponent Rutgers. She also added two caused turnovers and one ground ball.
Caroline Panzirer, Colgate, Jr., Attack, Katonah, N.Y./John Jay
*Panzirer recorded six points on four goals and two assists to lead Colgate to an 18-7 victory over Monmouth. She scored four or more goals for the seventh time in her career.
Felicia Giglio, Navy, So., Goalkeeper, Bayport, N.Y./Bayport Blue-Point
*Giglio made five saves and caused three turnovers while helping hold Saint Joseph’s to nine goals in the Mids’ 16-9 victory. The sophomore goalkeeper made four stops in the fourth quarter to help preserve the win.

*Johns led a Mids’ defense that limited Saint Joseph’s to nine goals, finishing with two ground balls and one caused turnover. She held the Hawks’ Alexa Capozzoli to one goal and one assist.
Emily Messinese, Navy, Sr., Attacker, Manchester, Md./Gerstell Academy
*Messinese recorded a team-high five points with four goals and one assist in Navy’s 16-9 win over Saint Joseph’s. She also added three ground balls, three draw controls and two caused turnovers.
Mikayla Williams, Navy, So., Midfielder, Bexley, Ohio/Bexley
*Williams matched a career-high five points with two goals and a career-high three assists while winning two draw controls and picking up one ground ball in Navy’s 16-9 win vs. Saint Joseph’s. She scored two goals during a game-ending 5-0 run to help Navy put the game out of reach.
