WASHINGTON – Graduate student forward Matt Rogers and sophomore forward Greg Jones scored 13 points apiece to lead American to a 48-44 victory over Boston University to split the season series and remain undefeated at home in League play.
*Jones scored five points in the final 3:18 to help the Eagles lead by as many as eight points to hold off a second-half Terriers comeback attempt and to clinch a top-four seed and a quarterfinal-round home game in the Patriot League Men’s Basketball Championship.
*The sophomore shot 4-of-7 from the floor, including 1-of-2 from deep, with three rebounds and two steals.
*Senior guard Elijah Stephens finished with 10 points, going 4-of-4 from the free-throw line in the final three minutes. Stephens added five rebounds, five steals and three assists.
*Terriers’ senior forward Malcolm Chimezie scored a team-leading 10 points and grabbed six boards.
*Sophomore guard Kyrone Alexander added nine points, four rebounds and four assists for BU.

EASTON, Pa. – Leopards’ senior center Justin Vander Baan recorded his fourth double-double of the season with 17 points and 10 rebounds to lead Lafayette to a ##-## over rival Lehigh on Senior Night at Kirby Sports Center to split the season series.
*Vander Baan added seven assists and two blocked shots, while freshman guard Caleb Williams scored a game-high 19 points along with four assists, three rebounds and two steals.
*Both Vander Baan and Williams went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe to help the Leopards shoot a perfect 19-for-19 from the free-throw line.
*Sophomore forward Andrew Phillips posted 14 points and seven boards, while freshman guard Alex Chaikin came off the bench to score 11 points.
*Mountain Hawks’ senior guard Tyler Whitney-Sidey and first-year center Hank Alvey scored 14 points apiece to lead Lehigh. Alvey grabbed a team-high seven rebounds.
*Sophomore guard Joshua Ingram and Nasir Whitlock each scored 13 points, combining to shoot 5-of-8 from 3-point range for a Lehigh squad that connected on 50 percent (9-of-18) of its attempts from beyond the arc.
