BETHLEHEM, Pa. – For the first time in Patriot League women’s basketball history, Lehigh and Army West Point will meet in the PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Women’s Basketball Championship Game.
The game will tip off at noon tomorrow on CBS Sports Network. Jason Knapp will provide the play-by-play, Julianne Viani Braen will join as an analyst and Paige Messier will be the sideline reporter.
Top-seeded Lehigh advanced to the title game with a 65-44 win over Holy Cross, forcing 23 turnovers and converting them into 31 points. Fifth-year forward Maddie Albrecht led the Mountain Hawks with 19 points and four steals, while Mackenzie McQuillen added 14 points and four steals.
No. 2 Army West Point earned its spot in the championship game with a 49-39 victory over No. 6 Bucknell. The Black Knights held the Bison to 32 percent from the field and closed the first half on a 16-4 run to take an early lead. Senior guard Trinity Hardy led Army West Point with 16 points, while junior guard Reese Ericson added 12 points.

SEASON SERIES: Lehigh swept the regular-season series, securing a dominant 90-51 road win by shooting 56 percent from three and outscoring Army West Point’s bench 38-14. The Mountain Hawks completed the sweep at home with a 76-61 victory, fueled by a 27-point second quarter to clinch the regular-season title.
GAME ONE (Jan. 12, 2025 - BOX SCORE): Fifth-year forward Maddie Albrecht led Lehigh with a game-high 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the floor. Sophomore Belle Bramer and Whitney Lind scored 15 and 13 off the bench, respectively. Senior forward Meghan O’Brien contributed 10 points for Lehigh. Senior guard Trinity Hardy, sophomore guard Fiona Hastick and junior guard Reese Ericson led the Black Knights, scoring nine points each.
GAME TWO (March 1, 2025 - BOX SCORE): The Mountain Hawks had five scorers in double digits, as Ella Stemmer led the way with 18 points.
