BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Patriot League regular season concluded Wednesday, with Lehigh securing the No. 1 seed and regular-season championship. Army West Point finished as the No. 2 seed, while Colgate claimed the No. 3 spot. With a win over Boston University and a loss by Holy Cross, Navy secured the final top-four seed and will host a quarterfinal game.
 
The Mountain Hawks finished 15-3 to earn their first regular-season title since 2010-11, when they shared the championship with Navy and American. Their last outright regular-season title came in 2008-09.
 
The first round of the 2025 PenFed Credit Union Patriot League Women’s Basketball Championship begins Saturday, March 8. No. 10 American will travel to Easton to face No. 7 Lafayette, with the winner advancing to play No. 2 Army West Point in the quarterfinals. No. 9 Loyola Maryland will visit No. 8 Boston University, with the winner earning a matchup against No. 1 Lehigh.
 
Quarterfinal-round action begins Monday, March 10, as No. 3 Colgate hosts No. 6 Bucknell at 6 p.m., and No. 4 Navy welcomes No. 5 Holy Cross at 7 p.m. All four quarterfinal games will stream live on ESPN+.

ANNAPOLIS, Md.  – Navy’s strong defensive effort led the Mids past Boston University, 60-47, securing the No. 4 seed and a home game in the quarterfinals.
*The game remained close through most of the first half before Navy closed the second quarter on a 14-2 run to take a 35-22 halftime lead.
*The Mids maintained their lead near double digits in the third quarter, carrying a 46-38 advantage into the final frame.
*Navy’s defense tightened during the fourth quarter, allowing just nine points and one field goal.
*Sophomore guard Kyah Smith led Navy with 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting from the field. Sophomore guard Zanai Barnett-Gay added 11 points and nine rebounds, while junior forward Morgan Demos contributed 10 points.
*Junior forward Adele Anter paced the Terriers with a team-high 12 points. Sophomore guard Audrey Ericksen chipped in 11 points, hitting three 3-pointers.

HAMILTON, N.Y. – A dominant performance on the boards powered Colgate past Lehigh, 78-59, making the Raiders the only team to sweep the Mountain Hawks this season.
*Lehigh jumped out to a 7-2 lead and held the advantage for the entire first quarter. A layup by senior guard Remi Sisselman gave the Mountain Hawks a 19-16 edge after one.
*Colgate took control early in the second quarter with a 10-5 run, and a 3-pointer from senior guard Taylor Golembiewski put the Raiders up 33-29.
*The Raiders extended their lead to 10 midway through the third, but Lehigh kept fighting. Senior guard Colleen McQuillen’s layup at the buzzer cut the deficit to 54-45 entering the fourth.
*Colgate pulled away in the final frame, outscoring Lehigh 24-14 behind three 3-pointers and 9-of-16 shooting from the field.
*The Raiders dominated the glass, holding a 41-22 rebounding advantage, including a 16-5 edge on the offensive boards.
*Senior guard Morgan McMahon led Colgate with 22 points. Golembiewski recorded a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double. Junior guard Anne Bair added 13 points, while sophomore forward Ella Meabon scored 10 points on a perfect 4-of-4 shooting.
*Fifth-year forward Maddie Albrecht led Lehigh with 14 points, while sophomore forward Whitney Lind added 13 points.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Army West Point closed the regular season with a 64-46 road win over Holy Cross behind a double-double from senior guard Trinty Hardy.
*The Black Knights led 15-14 after the first quarter, then tightened their defense in the second, outscoring the Crusaders 16-9 to take a 31-23 halftime lead.
*Army West Point continued its momentum in the third, extending its lead to 17 after a 3-pointer by Hardy.
*Holy Cross deployed a full-court press in the fourth, cutting the deficit to single digits, but Army West Point responded with three straight baskets to seal the win.
*Hardy led the Black Knights with a 21-point, 10-rebound double-double. Sophomore forward Fiona Hastick scored 17 points, while junior guard Reese Ericson added 10.
*The Crusaders had three players score in double figures, as senior Lindsay Berger and juniors Simone Foreman and Kaitlyn Flanagan each finished with 11 points.

BALTIMORE – A strong third quarter powered Lafayette past Loyola Maryland, 57-54, as the Leopards completed the season sweep.
*The teams traded baskets early, but Lafayette closed the first quarter on a 5-0 run to take a 13-8 lead.
*The Leopards maintained their advantage through the second quarter, though free throws by Loyola Maryland senior guard Laura Salmeron trimmed the deficit to 23-22 at halftime.
*Lafayette gained control in the third, finishing the quarter on a 10-4 run to build a 44-36 lead.
*The Greyhounds chipped away in the fourth, cutting the deficit to two in the final minute. However Loyola was unable to take the lead. Loyola Maryland had a final look at the basket, but the shot went long as Lafayette held on for the win.
*Sophomore guard Teresa Kiewiet led the Leopards with 17 points, while senior guard Abby Antognoli added 16. Sophomore forward Halee Smith contributed 10 points.
*Salmeron paced the Greyhounds with a team-high 13 points. Sophomore guard Amandine Amorich added 11 points, and senior forward Koi Sims recorded eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

*The Bison opened strong, shooting 10-of-19 from the field in the first quarter, with sophomore forward Ashley Sofilkanich scoring six points to help Bucknell take a 23-11 lead.
*Bucknell maintained a double-digit advantage, opening the second quarter on a 7-2 run and leading 38-23 at halftime.
*The Bison pulled away in the third, outscoring the Eagles 22-9 while shooting 50% from the field and hitting four 3-pointers to extend their lead to 28.
*Sofilkanich led Bucknell with 22 points and 11 rebounds. Junior guard Sophia Sabino added 14 points, while sophomore guard Tuana Coskun scored 10.
*Freshman forward Cecilia Kay led American with 12 points and nine rebounds.
